ugh... so Sumo Digital really is the developer...
I'm hoping a PS4 exclusive. The thing is LBP is amazing but there should only be 1 per system as that's all they need. I'm super hyped though! Hopefully we see something new added to the brand!
It's amazing how stupid some people are to put this stuff on their CV/linked in etc. Surely they know if its not been confirmed you don't mention it. Though to be honest, not surprised its in development.
Anyway hoping for PS4 only...rather than ps3/4.

If its real, I'm happy to see a new LittleBigPlanet, hopefuly coming for PS4. About being not being developed by MM, LBP Vita was developed by other studio and is absolutely amazing.
About Sumo's history, they made the newer OutRun games that I really liked and worked on DLCs on LBP 2 (the cross controller pack). So let's just hope that they can do a great sequel, just like Vita's one is.

Apparently they developed the cross controller pack for LBP2, so this would actually make sense. They've previously developed games for almost every platform but they're basically a studio used to handle ports/outsourcing work. No idea how they would fare handling the entire development of an exclusive for one platform, seems like a big ask.

Aren't LBP2 sales any indication that people don't need another one?

i just want to point out that sumo digital has been in the psvita credits since day 1. credits go as tarsier/double eleven, then MM, then XDEV/sumo/and 4 others.
so while i don't doubt that sumo would get involved in LBP3 as well i'll bet tarsier is still taking the lead. also i'm okay with that, they did a great job with lbp vita. not a amazing as lbp 1 but much better than lbp 2, imo.

i think we do, but i think we need one per gen. this game more than any other is best served with dlc not sequels. every year they should have an updated disc release that contains the lastest set of dlc on the disc but in general they should just have downloadable level packs. i.eat.that.shit.up.
