Everything other than being able to have you copy of your game save in the cloud.

What? But both PS3 and 360 already feature this. With PS Plus and XBL Gold respectively.

what happens when a game goes out of print? screw you if you wanted the disc then? Yes there is digital, but are people going to spend 50-60 bucks on a game that came out 3 or more years ago? I wouldnt and a few others i knew wouldnt

Ever heard of a price drop?

sure have, but thats kind of my point. Publishers will make LESS money if few are willing to just wait for a price drop. How will that help them then? Who will they blame then, when they are not making profits on their 50 mil budget game, cause people are waiting for the price to drop in half?

My problem is the internet connection. My house has 3 ip addresses and three computers, we use a switch and to give a console access to the internet we have to unhook one of the other computers and hook up the game console. Then we have to reset the modem so it reassigns the third ip address to the console. Then of course we have to do the reverse after we are done to give the computer back its ip address. It's a rather tedious chore.

And no I don't want to get a wireless router... Those things cut your bandwidth in half or more depending on how good of a router it is and where its placed. You should see my fathers setup, he's using his landlords router that was setup for the tenants and the speed is terrible. It takes like 30 seconds just to load up google.... Far too many people are obsessed with wireless technology. It's good for some things, but terrible in most things.

The anti-consumer attitude MS has with the Xbox One is what actually bothers me. I don't have any problem with internet and I like Xbox's exclusive games, but I won't support this awful DRM MS wants to use. Instead of thinking only about myself in this situation like I have seen many other games do here, I try to see how this kind of thing will affect everyone that play games and how many people will actually not be able to play by issues with their internet/no used games. I'm not supporting any kind of decision where the consumer is damaged by the greed of some corporations.

Honestly? I don't like it for a couple of reasons.

1.They are focusing less on games than the others. Sure, it may help them sell more consoles (maybe). But! That doesn't do anything for me...I'm a gamer, why do I care about fantasy football or ESPN?

2. They are hurting the used game market. I don't buy alot of used games. But! If I'm not sure whether I want a game or not, I feel better about buying it knowing that I can get at least a good chunk of my money back by selling it back. Or I can get it used and spend less money. On another used game note, I'm pretty certain that used games help reduce the price of used games faster because publishers need to drop the price to compete.

3. Lack of games. Now, this may change after E3. But they just haven't shown anything I'm really excited for. Forza? Cool, Halo? Alright...but it's nothing we haven't seen a million times before.

4. Kinect. I don't really like motion controls. I don't see much of an advantage to moving my arms to do things over pushing a button. I also know that systems like that always work better at demonstrations than they do in practice with people around and outside noise ect. With the One it seems like the Kinect is a fundamental part of how it works and frankly it seems more like a gimmick than a feature.

Its an anti-consumer, anti-freewill phylosophy.
People with education wont support this machine.

The fact that every negative thread about it has become a soap box for some of the most ignorant posters to freely spit drivel over this community. It would also seem half the site rules don't count when it comes to XBO threads.

The website rules deal with code of conduct towards other members. There are no rules regarding a collection negative view on a console, just rules regarding name calling, and trolling.

I asked people to be serious, and talk about what really bugs them about the console, and that's what people are doing. You're free to make an honest thread about flaws with the Wii U and PS4, you just don't see any because the forums generally favor those consoles.
