I swear I thought he was about to cry or pop a blood vessel. I feel bad to this guy, he was so loyal to MS for a decade. What a shame. I already told everyone that its common sense Gamestop is going to hike up prices on Xbox gamers just to survive.

I dont fell bad, he has other options, one being to just stop playing games. He is a grown man

Now with that being said, it was a good rant, and i at least learned what MS is doing now.

We all know hes a grown man but he's also a personality. He's called the Angry Gamer for a reason. All Sony has to do is say yet again at E3..."Yeah, we don't have DRM" and he's on the boat with them. He also explained the difference between creating an architecture which restricts your consumers and leaving the DRM to third parties, which is a great point. There is a huge difference. MS took it upon themselves to screw their loyal consumers royally.

Well this proves a point I made before.

Sony fans will defend Sony no matter what they do. Just as long as they can point to something else for being worse.

Sure PS4 has DRM, but since it isn't as strict as MS they get all the praise.

That's the thing though, isn't it? There's no reason to defend Sony, because they haven't screwed it up. They're not the ones presenting anti-consumer "features" with their new console. So why do you say Sony fans defend them no matter what? Sony haven't changed their policy. They haven't implemented a mandatory barrier that everyone has to go through to use the products they purchased. They leave it up to the publishers, which is just the way it's always been with them. Some games may have online passes, like on the PS3 or 360, but that's still an option for the developers to adopt or not. It is not mandatory.

Options are still given. Things aren't forced on people.

So yeah... Who's defending a console company no matter what? You are, and some others like you. Sony fans don't need to defend Sony since there's no issues on their console. But keep on deflecting. You're almost good at it.

Finally, someone who shows intellegence. The PS4 will be no different than what is going on with the PS3. If third parties choose to interfere thats their negotiation or funeral with consumers.

They are turning it into a war when it doesnt need to be an Xbox vs Playstation issue. We get that their fans but they need to derail the truth just because they favor the console.

We'll see what publishers do. That'll reflect if Sony changed their policy on what they allow.

AngryJoe's frustration is just another devastating blow to the public image of Xbone out of thousands.

It's hilarious really how a company can be mismanaged so bad. Out of touch with consumers is an understatement. It's a total fiasco.

First, poor hardware design, which according to ethomaz and others will ensure that the manufacturing costs of the console will forever remain more expensive than the competition, while the hardware still being significantly weaker than the competition.

Then being unable to properly prepare for a successful software launch by being up to 6 months behind schedule with first party software, which the deal with EA/Respawn blatantly proves.

Then these draconian DRM and Big brother control features not just being thrown out there as rumors to test the reactions, but actually being implemented into the system.

Then this total and utter PR and marketing fiasco, from the totally out of touch Xbone reveal event to the total inability to address customer's questions and fears of what limitations and requirements the Xbox system will bring.

The backlash is a total nightmare.

Someone with intelligence wouldn't have posted that video to begin with.

It was flame bait. Nothing learned, no constructive criticism, no potential of leading into any sort of intelligent discussion.

The mods need to make a new forum called Flame Bait Crap. You can post videos like this. Maybe Somini can post more of those anti-MS blogs. It'll be grand.

What the hell does that have to do with Sony? As I said its no different than whats going on right now with Origin clients and other things.

The guy was an XBox fan. Funny....a Xbox fan just renounced ownership of consoles because of MS here on the forums as well. Listen to the guy and respond or else you're intruding upon my post. I dont care if you disagree, just watch the freaking video and respond or else you're intruding.

on top of everything i think we are forgetting that we are talking about a guy who got 1.8 m views on his last xbo rant. he does have a fair amount of influence
