Yeah its going to be a long time before we see another Burnout game. Also it will not be the same since Criterion Games is moving away from racing games so another developer is going to make the next Burnout game.

Criterion Games said they are working in the next Need For Speed: Underground for next-gen consoles.
I don't find them fun and they get boring very quickly. Also, from your list, the only one that sounds good is Mario Kart.
Even Namco Bandai have "an unannounced racing game," to show at E3.

Ridge Racer?
It's not been great lately for racing game fans.
I had to import WRC 3 from Europe cause it was taking forever to release over here.
Most racing games nowadays try to force a dumb story, or have annoying forced festival crap. I just want to race again, Burnout, Motorstorm 1,2 (not apocalypse), Colin McRea rally, PGR, WipeOut, Rallisport challenge.
NFS most wanted is just about as much story as I can bear in a racing game. I was excited for a while for Grid 2 to come out until I read the reviews, more americanized story crap.
I'm most looking forward to GT6. All about racing, no crap.
Driveclub might be good
NFS is always a crapshoot.
Forza 5 and PGR are on a console that is not sitting well with me atm.
F1 2013, sure need to play 2 of those every gen.
But where is rally racing???
As long as there is Mario Kart, there will be a racing genre.
And @Ethomaz; you can't use Xbone! It's a term only fans of the Xbone can use (unless you're, which I kind of doubt), kind of like that one word that starts with a 'n'... Just ask Pbroy, he made up the rule.
