Yes, brought it day 1, very disappointed with the game after the initial fantastic intro.

My tid bits so far would be that it lacks in the story department and despite strong focus on characters and dialogue, the characters themselves are cookie cutter. Gameplay is horrible. Not sure if I can be bothered to compete it. Most over rated games of the year so far.

What. The. Fuck.

Finish the game please and re-read what you just wrote afterwards. You probably should atleast add a "So far" considering the characters evolve a ton throughout the journey.

I bought day 2.  Liking it so far (not sure how far I am, playing for 4+ hours worth - is there a way to get a percentage?).  But I have to admit, it doesn't seem to carry the same charm as U2 and U3.  Don't get me wrong, I can see why it was highly rated and I DO want to keep playing.  BUT, for those who haven't bought it yet, don't go working yourself up too much as the game might not live up to your own hype.

I'll report back once I'm finished (probably by a week or so).  I would say so far good to great, but not sure why its rated any better than U2 or U3.  Characters are good (the guy does have a point the intro brings you in high, then you are somewhat dumped into an anticlimactic after game - but i think that was the point, the world is SUPPOSED to feel boring, like shit, etc.  Its supposed to suck the life out of you since it is post apoclypse).  Combat can be a little sluggish but this isn't mean to be call of duty.  Scavenging for parts/items can get a little tedious like any game.  Weapons have the oomph you would expect and are for the most part satisfying.  Enimies are satisfying.  Dialog and voice acting is very good, although sometimes a bit out of place volume wise (as good as either uncharted I would say).  Althought the girl does have one heck of a potty mouth! lol

Believe me when I tell you the game only gets better for the more you play. If you're liking it right now, you're going to love it by the end. I've seen a lot feel the way you have and come around saying its one of the best games they've played at the end of it.

Game of the gen so far, just think what ND have in store for ps4

Wow....not sure if I agree with anything you just said in this post. I felt the characters and story were AMAZING, they kept you interested in the game and I am not even done with the game yet. As for the gameplay VERY solid and intense as it should be, the pace mixes up from slow and gritty to fast with a sense of alarm. Not sure what you expected going into this game but it does EVERYTHING it set out to do dang near PERFECT. Maybe it just wasn't your cup of tea......But everyone is free to their own opinion I guess.

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

New one and out of nowhere!

Game Over Online 10/10, Its on Metacritic. That makes it 81 perfect scores out of 125 reviews total.

Bringing up the perfect 10's to 35 (a mere 4 - 10's away from Uncharted 2's mighty 39 perfect scores).

The amount of 10's will now slowly move it up.
I'd say 96 is out of reach to be honest from the average numbers ive pulled => we're looking at a 94 or possibly (if lucky) 95 finish depending on the amount of low reviews. Anything under a 9 will harm pretty hard so my guess is 94 as I can see some coming soon. Just look at QuarterToThree.

Updated with:
GameTrailers: 9.8/10 (highest score given)
Gamrreview: 9.8/10 (highest score ever)

Sick!

If anyone is interested, here's a list of all the review sites/publications etc that Metacritic considers/includel. Take note that this list is quite old...Uncharted 3 old (I made this list when Uncharted 3 came out and couldn't be bothered to update)

While it's no surprise
GameReactor Swedens chief editor is listing his top games of all time and he says The Last of Us is this generations greatest game :D Thought that was nice. (Same guy who pulled Ellie from the covers due to artistic reasons)
