Like the title says, predict which games the 4 demos will be of in the comments below! Then come E3, we'll see who guessed correctly, and who failed miserably! Anyone who get's all four of their choices demo'd will win the fabulous grand prize of... getting my permission to pat yourselves on the back! Hey, don't give me that look! This is just for funs afterall hehe. Anywho I'll start us off with my educated guesses!
-=1: SUPER MARIO U=-
I'll be suprised if anyone doesn't guess this game will be there. Mario is Nintendo's main game series, and is the most recognizable video game character out there. It just seems like a no brainer to demo this game if they really want to attract attention to the Wii U. Plus, I'm betting the reason they haven't told us which games will be playable yet is because atleast one of them has yet to be revealed, much like Super Mario U.
-=2: MARIO KART 8=-
I have a feeling Nintendo is gonna have the demos be diverse genre wise, but still be recognizable via the game's appearance and characters, namely Mario. Also, with Super Mario U being a singleplayer experience, they'll wanna balance that out with multiplayer games, so MK8 would be the best choice for competitive multiplayer, especially since it's likely to support 5 players locally. That alone might intrigue many MKWii owners to check out the game for as we all know, local multiplayer is it's biggest draw.
-=3: PIKMIN 3=-
Okay, not a very recognizable franchise, but with the three other games, I feel they'd want atleast one oddball in the bunch. Plus this game does have it's unique charm and is a great graphical showcase for the Wii U with it's realistic art style. But mainly, this'll be the Cooperative multiplayer game. Up until the last Nintendo Direct, all we saw of the game was Challenge mode, so I think it's safe to say that mode is nearly done, atleast to the point where a Co-operative demo can be made out of it. This'll also enable it to show off using 2 gamepads. The second screen is only used to show a 2D map and menus in this game, so it should be dual gamepad compatible.
-=4: MARIO & SONIC OLYMPICS=-
At first I was thinking the last game could be Sonic: Lost Worlds, but after putting more thought into it, I actually believe Mario & Sonic would be more fitting. Maybe not from us gamers point of view, but from Nintendo's perspective, it'll atract more attention and show off the Wii U more, what with both Mario & Sonic, realistic style graphics, and using a variety of control schemes, possibly balance board and dual gamepads. Plus they'll want atleast one casual centric title, and though you'd think Wii Fit would fit the bill better, the main thing going for M&S is it's multiplayer. The reason I'm stressing multiplayer so much is because the timeframe that the demos are available for (two days, 4 hours each) means people will be showing up at the same time, and I'm sure Nintendo knows this. Having lot's of multiplayer games will increase the number of people who can play at once, making the lines that much shorter.
So there you have it. I'm confident I'll atleast get two right! Personally, I'd like to see SSB4 in there as the fourth as I bet many would, but that's just not likely to happen sadly so I left it out. That doesn't mean you all can't choose the game or any others I didn't list. My predictions are as good as anyones afterall. So go ahead and list your predictions now! ^_^
