Well, I believe more in a developer statement than in the feelings of a random guy on VGC.

when the game releases be sure to check out eurogamers analysis and the lens of truth, they are much better sources than a employee at turn 10 studios.

And both are better sources of information than a random Sony fan posting in a VGChartz Microsoft thread.

Of course I will and so will the developer at turn10 or do you think they don't know there will be a technical analysis and this is secret knowledge to gaming-forums?

that's very good, I hope the majority of devs will choose to use 1080p at 60fps for x1 and ps4

That's the way you're going then? I'm just throwing money at my pre-order until it gets to $800 AUD and depending on how much the console is, the more/less games I'll have. They've got a placeholder price off $899 where I pre-ordered and they're not letting me pre-order games... As far as I'm aware.

How much have you put on the X1 and how much do you think it will be in GBP? If you don't mind me asking of course!

why exactly? going 720p and putting more ressources in everything else sounds very plausible to me for console games. almost nobody will really see a difference because at least all the people i know in real life sit too much away from their tv. i'm a rare example of those who sit very close even when i could have a much bigger viewing distance. you could even say it's wasting ressources if you look at the whole market and not only at some crazy guys who can't sit close enough to their screen.

But this will actually look better and not have copius amounts of screen tearing.

There is 1080p and 60hz and there is 1080p and 60hz.  This will be a the smooth as butter and gorgeous looking version with high qaulity assets and next gen car models... not previous gen car models

But the point remains, what do you want him to say.  He had to say what it does.  He was never going to say it does 4k was he?

This is the current limit and it reaches it.  The snide remark wasnt required... and you know it!!.

well, i think people talk about multiplat games. if a game is made only for xb1 it could obviously also run with 60fps and in 1080p but that would maybe cost so much power that the graphics itself wouldn't be that good anymore.

on topic: 60fps for a "real" forza was obvious, that's already the case this gen and would be crazy to change. and i think it also means it will be only 720p, otherwise he would probably have said 1080p and wouldn't say all the time how unimportant the resolution is^^
