Don't mind change in play. I actually enjoyed Super Paper Mario a lot on Wii unlike some people. I love the humor and story writing of the series. Plus it is only $20 new on Amazon right now. I don't think I'll be dissatisfied. |
Hey I liked Super Paper Mario too. The change in gameplay wasn't as bad as it is with SS, which is really just a massively watered down TTYD. The main thing is that there's no experience points. Hence you're better off not fighting, which in turn, kinda mean you're better off not playing the game. Also, the interesting story and creative characters the series is known for? Out the window, replaced instead by generic toads as characters, generic goombas, koopas, etc. as enemys, and the same old Bowser kidnaps Peach just because plot, which is even worse than in original PM as you never see these two characters again until the end of the game (atleast I assume so. I never actually bothered to beat the game).
