why do people that I am defending capcom and attacking Uncharted... okay I know that I am not the biggest uncharted fan, I called it Overrated a couple of times, but I am pointing the flaws of the guy's logic, most of his "Cons" are the same cons that were seen in other highly rated games, linearity, uninteractivity, scripted cinematic scenes, hand holding ...etc.

I see it very hypocritical, and plainly obviously biased, I am attacking gaming journalism integrity rather than games people...

like I said on the OP , I have no interest in Capcom, they're the worst japanese company out there.

It's just a futurama reference. It has no bearing on the thread at all, except that the giant fire-shooting statue is supposed to be saying "Remember Me."

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I think I'll still check this game out. I love that type of setting, and the game looks gorgeous. Plus it'll give me something to do till E3.

Also, I seem to recall an article stating publishers turned this title down because female leads don't sell, which kinda pissed me off, so I was like "fuck it, I'm buying it out of principle"

The reviews seem pretty all over the placed right now. I think I might enjoy it

You got any proof for your competent claims?

You really think journalists never get paid?

what about Mass Effect 3 ? when it came out, it was game of the years / generation whatever, then after people played it , was a huge backlash

still my goty for last year

Let him be, he probably has never played it

Never played what? Uncharted or Mass Effect?

I made long reviews of both, didn't give scores, made them on this forum, needless to say most didn't agree with me (again), I loved ME1 , disliked ME2 and ME3, they felt very non- RPG , the way they give you missions and the way the combat is felt like Gears of War in spaces, lots of hordes no tactics, basically you can be soldier and the game will be very very easy.

Loved Uncharted 1 and 2 , Disliked U3 , felt it was very rushed, the plot the ending , the ending is one of the worst endings when it was released, they just destroyed everything and left and then credit rolled , there was a lot of plotholes and characters that just random and disappeared forever (whatever happened to Cutter and Chloe after they were in the bus?) , the thing that poisoned the water.... what was it? , did they really explain that whole "Djinn" thing with poisoned water ? thats very anticlimatic, why did everything collapse when that old woman died (forgot her name, Sully's girlfriend)

what? you're butthurt? why do you like Capcom?

I dont care about this but i will defend one thing. Mass effect 3 is an amazing game and deserves all the praise it gets. An ending that doesnt correspond to expectations doesnt not mean the other 40-50 hours were any less amazing. Any GOTY awards it got were deserved. It was my GOTY for last year aswell.

mixed reviews these days mean that the game most likely is good. if something sounds to good to be true you have to be careful.
