My signature probably speaks for me - but I think some japanese centric games could really help. Obviously we could debate about japanese games quality, but I think we can both agree most countries that have been developing AAA games for a while, have made something significant contributions for our current console generation.

I'm sure that won't change in the next gen. 

I'm curious, what is the best Japanese centric game you have ever played? (Though I assume you may not like many in the first place)

What do you mean with "japanese centric"? JRPGs? I played more than most can count, for sure :)

I must say that a proper Banjo-Kazooie platformer certainly piques my interest. If my dreams of a new Blast Corps come true then an XB1 may very well be in my future.

Yes, because nowadays jrpgs are definitely not my taste anymore, really. They changed over the last years in way I can't stand it anymore.

Understood. It just seemed a little close minded to not want games from Japan at all based on the one terrible game you linked us to. 

PGR5, Banjo, and some RPGs (Don't like Fable too much) in combination would make be a little jealous of xbox one owners.

Nothing wrong with that. There are also some Sony-exclusives I'd like to play :)  Seems I have to borrow a ps3 some time when my backlog is done :)
