i believe they are pretty different. one is a big open world where you have to build a base to defend yourself and stuff like that, the other is a big budget game with a cinematic approach.

i'm very interested in both and will probably buy state of decay (preordered tlou) if it won't be too bad, but it could be also a huge flop so i have to see some reviews^^

when it was announced it was like: Ohh, why do they make a Zombie game? They are late, the zombie wave is over when it's released. Nobody is gonna want that any more!

Now people trying to find games that are AS GOOD, and nobody has even played it yet.

In all honestly, I never looked at TLOU as a zombie game. From the very first beginning those things looked like monsters, or really twisted infected people.

i believe state of decay is even longer in development but they had some issues after a while or something like that. i believe it's only coincidence that both release now and that makes it a good comparison but well, i still think they are totally different games.

I actually think State of Decay looks really, really cool. I was glad when I saw it was coming to PC as well as XBLA because I'm definitely going to give it a try.

If Last of Us' multi-player pans out like the leak, though, then that may also satisfy my zombie game urges.
