Please be excited

I actually laughed out loud at that one (seriously). I don't think we'll be letting that one go until we see the goods at E3

Hell yes more RPGS!

Judging by the rate Namco localise Tales games: 2015.  Remember, the localisations for Symphonia 1 & 2 are already done.

Let's hope it's sooner though.  Reception for Xillia 2 seemed extremely positive.

Yeah, it's really bad. I managed to get to the end but the doctor said my brain and liver couldn't handle any more so I had to stop. I still feel dizzy whenever I think about it and I haven't even touched a Tales of game since then.

You must be blinded by nostalgia. Does Ymir Forest ring a bell? Tales of Symphonia was full of dungeons with annoying puzzles and it also had a forgettable overworld. It also lacked the free run in battles, so the combat in Dawn of the New World is outright better. And despite nine main characters in ToS compared to DotNW's two, DotNW has more characters that are truly fun to play. DotNW's skill system is superior to ToS's stupid EX spheres.

ToS has a better storyline and is a longer game, but in most other areas it's equal or worse than DotNW. Basically, people hate DotNW for Emil and the Pokémon approach, but other than that it's not really any different or worse than other Tales games.

The battle system is better, which is the reason for why I managed to get as far as I did, but that's about it. But it wasn't good enough to make me finish the game, and there was something about it that made my blood boil but I've forgotten what it was.

I did play ToS again while struggling with DotNW and I enjoyed it a lot more, despite the sequel's improvements to the battle system. Out of ToS's characters Raine and Genis where the only ones I didn't like playing as (in single player that is) and I didn't use Regal that much, but I had a good time switching between the remaining six (or five) so in the end I'll take the ToS characters over Emil & Marta.

Some dungeones sure had annoying elements but I don't see how DotNW improved on...anything. I thought DotNW was way worse in that department and all of the old content sure didn't make it better. The overworld in the sequel (or lack there of) was one of my biggest disappointments with the game.

Meh... would've been better if they localised the Vita games instead. These we already had released in the west.

Also, Hideo baba is sneaky... he said the project didnt exist just a few days ago.

Nah, he's just a complete liar.

Smoke and mirrors to try and keep a pissed fanbase happy. That said, it's a shame they'll localize something that is already available to play. At least I don't have to try and resume the gamecube playthrough I started years ago.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

will the Tales of Symphonia be the added content one or the gamecube one(most likely the GC one)

will buy

I prefer Tales of Xillia 2...please Namco...
