wikipedia is such a great source of information, I'm sure when it's all set and done the ps3 will end up with more ip on the platform, since the 360s game releases are becoming more bare, with little to no first party releases in the near future

Just ignore them. They are in super defensive mode.

That many IP's in the next year and a half from now? The PS3 won't get the same support the PS2 did after it's release. The market is more divided and they'll have to focus more on the PS4.

....Because they don't put importance of all of those entertainment things that they do above games. MS puts entertainment above games. Just watch, you'll see. I guess three consecutive years isnt enough to prove it to you. Sonys track track record seems to be forgotten every year by you guys.

This is so funny because its like a complete flip flop from the launch of 360 and PS3, where PS3 was being touted as the media box and the 360 was this epic gamer centric machine. MS are one heavy price tag away from putting themselves in Sony's position. Sony's probably thinking, "You take that media center, all in one approach and see where that gets you."

At the very least they know who the early adopters are for these consoles. The services they provide alongside are also potentially looking very gamer friendly. So they have a great momentum going. Once they get the early adopters in and the price drop kicks in, they can heavily market the device as being the "all in one" box to get the rest in. Their plan seems sound. Let's just see now how they execute. So far so good Sony.

Nobody cares about what you are sure of as only time will tell us. We have numbers *now* and they proof the initial statement was wrong.

But as we know the PS3 eventually overtook 360, so... ;)

He is clearly riding the wave of the moment. Lately the big trend is bash M$ about their lack of focus on games, so offcaurse he would say something like that.

That comment will only remain true untill when/if Xbox1 takes off and have huge success. Lets not fool ourselves, if Xbox1 is successfull they will do anything to imitate it, just look at the Move that magicaly appeared after Wii's huge success.

Yeah, big talk. Show us your DRM policy and we'll see if you really are committed to appealing to gamers, rather than game publishers.
