This is a very complicated case, Happy. You know, a lotta ins, a lotta outs, a lotta what-have-yous. How will you tackle this?

*turns head*

My dear Mr. Dude (did I get that correctly?) I will tell you that I've seen a lot of ins and outs during my team at hogwarts. As far as I can tell you, as long as you have friends to count on, you'll make it out of any peril (not without a share of effort). And of course one of those friends would need a bit of wit (and some handy spells), that's usually where I come in *blushes*.

As for the case of the burnt stains on your carpet, I'm not entirely sure how you'll get out of that one, I'll say I've found prettier ones in Leadenhall Market. I'm sure that with your friends, who I hope to meet someday, you'll be able to figure out a way out of it.

Also, what is this thing you muggles play, bowling. I don't understand the pleasure you find in that. *glances from the side of her eyes and turns to her book*

*asks while reading her book*

Tell me, what is it exactly that you do?

So....what are we doing again? We post around the whole site?

Yeah, you post wherever, whenever you want to in the skin of your character. You prepare props (mostly pics, backdrops, items) and use them in your posts.

Before the game starts you study your character a little bit and you put yourself in the character's shoes. You try to mimic the tone and type of things the character would say, and put yourself in the character's mood.

For example, as Katniss you would most probably be in a very cover type of mood, but also always ready to extend grace and help. As Jerry, you may be a bit edgy and dramatize things. As Indy, you'd have these little things that would bug you but you'd be always ready to face the next big obstacle, and put yourself in that brave kind of mood, also not afraid of what otherse think. And of course classy and romantic.

I would like to change my character to Ash from Evil Dead. If not, Indy plays the same. Courageous and funny! Posts a lot, and likes adventure.

My goodness me, now you are being rather silly. Where is the challenge if you just go and chance your character whilly-nilly? Not to mention the lack of respect for the other people involved, they picked from the limited roster and have not made any attempts to further their standing bu picking a character they feel suits them better.

«My poor child... what are you doing conversing with such a low-life? Someone with your abilities should only be thinking about furthering her studies and using that knowledge for the good of the realm. Leave this peasant to his bowling, stay by my side, remain faithful to your King Joffrey and I'll make sure you have a bright future »

«Would you be interested in a job taking care of the sweetest boy in all of the Seven Kingdoms? My precious Joffrey might almost be man grown but I fear his temper *might* get the best of him sometimes. I know House Poppins has long been a friend of the Lannister and as you know a Lannister always pays his debts.»

You know, has it ever occurred to you, that, instead of, uh, you know, running around, uh, uh, talking down to me, you know, given the nature of all this new shit, you know, I-I-I-I... this could be a-a-a-a lot more, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, complex, I mean, it's not just, it might not be just such a simple... uh, you know?

«Right, you are. Perhaps I have misjudged you. I thought you pathetic and useless but I might have been wrong... on the useless part at least. The court entertainment has been sorely lacking since Joffrey had the last Jester beheaded for a bad jape about his origins. I think you'd make a more than fitting fool.

Word of advice, you'd best be a delight or you'll make a new friend in Illyn Payne»

You think it's that simple? That you can just change your lot in life however you desire? You are who you are, the same as I am who I am. Why should I hide this? Why should you?

Meet your fate, and then see what fate you might introduce on others!

ill take the terminator... this could be fun I think

«Mr. Terminator, I assume from your name that you know how to... how should I say... take care of people. There's a certain man calling himself The Dude. I'm sure you've seen him around King's Landing's brothels, bowling alleys or other places common people like to visit?

Well, it appears what this man wants more than anything in this world is to bowl. I'm not so heartless as to rob him from this tedious passtime but I'd like you to make sure next time he bowls, it's with his own ugly head.»

Dear hogwarts larpists, I have been hard at work spying on some of your posts over the morning (not without the aid of my magical sentinels). I have to say that I'm quite pleased with the humor, originality and talent in some of the posts I've been reading from you.

As it is I'd like to say thank you to Mr. Ford for getting into his role, despite being a fair bit uncertain about it earlier. I had spoken about the matter with Professor Dumbledore and we're both quite pleased you've made a sound choice. We'll be happy to accord you more points for effort too.

*turns to the other side of the lunch hall*

Well, another fine day in the world of wizardry. I'd like to thank you all for participating and remember the game ends tomorrow evening, I will likely close the books at 6PM EST so enjoy the challenge while it's still on. I may delay before the next round as this requires a fair amount of reading. Though I do enjoy reading you all, I have some quidditch training to attend to. Yes, I know you're all surprised but I've taken up a bit of quidditch myself lately. Hey, it's not just Harry that can show off in sports! *smiles*

A friendly reminder. I understand how tough it can be to be on topic in threads outside of this one while playing your roles, but I wanted to say - if possible - see if you can play your part while participating in the topic. A challenge only for the best, but I believe in you. With that, off I go to quidditch practice. See you all this evening! *runs for practice*

You rich people are all alike. You think you can pass out a little coin to a local thug or mercenary, and have them erase anything and everyone that doesn't suit you. I wonder how you will feel, when just one such simple coin determines your own fate.

Ahh....feel that anticipation?
