pretty crappy prices this week.. although there is tomorrow and friday, saturday...

If you got any japanese players with the jpn version of AC try and make a visit to their town.  They got the Obon Festival tomorrow on Aug 15th which is kinda similar to the chinese hungry ghost festival or it's the asian version of halloween I guess....

My turnip prices are horrible this week, so far. T_T

On another note, I just got my 1st home exterior upgrade, how cool! Also, Nook is pure evil. Those room expansions are killing me. o_O'

Gotta build a lot of public works.  That is the main thing I noticed.  The amount of trees per space isn't important anymore (used to have to have proper distribution of trees to achieve perfect status in previous games in series).  So basically it seems you get a perfect town once you build enough public works projects.

I added you to my 3DS but I believe you have yet to add me.

I'll take down the current poll at the end of the week. I'll probably take the top 5 or so from this list for the round after the next round. Next round will include a bunch of others that weren't in the first round then I'll pit the first round top 5 vs top 5 of the second round.

Tell me truthfully, on a scale of 1-10, how addicting is this game? I've heard from everyone (even the most hating of personalities in regards to Nintendo) that they can't stop playing this game. So how addicting is it?

In case you didn't know, I have a comic book called Guardians. I'm the writer/creator of it, and we have four issues out right now, with our fifth coming out soon!

We're also doing a Patreon right now for the comic, and I'd appreciate any and all help in getting it funded. If 56 people pledged $3 per issue, we'll be funded

To pledge, click here. Please join Team Guardians!

At least a 9.  There is a ton of stuff to collect / do in this game (just like other Animal Crossing games).  There is even more jammed in compared to previous versions so the addiction level is high.  All the public works projects make this game last a lot longer than previous games in the series due to the amount of money required to build and customization of towns.

Also depends on the people you play with.  I play less and less online now since I got most of the stuff I want, but will try and help out if anyone needs certain items...

Japanese player's town.  Obon Day  15/08

One of my cutest villagers finally gives me their pic..  That mermaid set has been replaced now.... O_o

Finding Seasonal fish/insects

Current bank balance.....

yea Gracie there's no need to shout in my face...

You will most likely get satisifaction by trying to earn things yourself.. slowly does it..

Keep you eyes open for rare items that pop up... if you find the right players they may pay lots for it.. unless you want it for yourself!

Depending on the personality of your villagers (uchi, jock, cranky, lazy, smug, snooty, normal, peppy, smug)  some personalities get along well with others, others well.. watch the drama unfold....

yea I think you also need to have a certain amount of trees and flowers to obtain perfect town status... I kinda just got it by accident....  iirc I had already unlocked a few shops, 3 bridges, street lamp, street clock, bench, sign, and a campsite and then something like this came up....

Anyone have good turnip prices? I fear I'm stuck in a decreasing pattern.
