That's entirely up to you what you wanna do in your town !  :P  But yes I have those.

I hate to think since I'm pretty sure female pigeons don't produce milk.. where did HE get that from.... ?

What did you do to recieve so many requests? Anything special?

open museum shop

Club 101

open police station,

set up coffee shop,

dream suite

hot springs

There is about 80+ public works request to unlock....



That doesn't answer the question of HOW you unlock them. =/
I've only gotten one request yet I've been playing the game everyday since release so there must be something that has to be done first.

Ok some like the museum shop requires you donate a certain number of insects, fish i think it was 20 of each, and at least one real painting, after that' you speak to blathers daily and he will tell you his problems and suggest opening a shop.

Go and speak to Isabelle for projects.


Once you unlock the museum shop and donated about 40 of each insect, fish speak to blathers again daily till he reveals opening coffee shop.

Others require you to obtain town perfect status or just animals randomly approaching you asking for this.

 

you can start by completing a few of the town projects already available

Personally I've had 4 requests so far...seemed to be totally random, just through talking to villagers regularly.

So for non-buildings it's just random then, going by what you and mushroomboy5 said? That's kinda lame considering there are so many of them. I'll never get access to them all this rate! D:

lol...anyone ever lock tjere town memners in holes dug by your shovel?

He didn't take anything or mess anything up because I turned off 3DS before save.  I've done the block by holes in previous games but not yet on this one.  I also used to like burying pitfalls and pushing them into them.
