I'll go with this for now. This is from a translation though and i feel a little may have been lost in that translation.

they do know how to surprise at E3 though, they've done it before with resulting internet meltdowns.

I only remember 1 meltdown at E3 when they announced a FFXIII 360 version.

Unless you're talking about timed exclusive content, which is not meltdown worthy.

wasnt there one after the shirt sleeve incident?

Even Google doesn't know what you said..

Well there were two shirt sleeve incidents. Both of which involved Peter Moore getting a tattoo on his arm, covering it with his shirt, and then revealing them during the conference. The first time he did it, was for the Halo 2 announcement. The second time, which is the one Kowen is probably referring to, was for GTA4. It was a pretty big deal since GTA was previously on PlayStation only.

Timed exclusive content? lol

Destiny - Exclusive PS4 content. Big deal since Bungie used to make Microsoft's biggest franchise.

Watch Dogs - Exclusive PS4 content

Assassin's Creed IV - Exclusive PS4 content

Those are all HUGE games and have exclusive content only on Playstation!

So if theres any "Shirt sleeve incident" It won't hurt Sony like it did back then.

I want them to turn this around, but i'm not expecting much

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Huh?

GTA was exclusive to PlayStation, and Moore revealed that GTA4 would be coming to 360 as well. I'm not sure what your post has to do with anything I said.

GTA was exclusive? wat!!?. NO it wasn't.

If there's another "Shirt sleeve incident" at E3 where they only secured timed exclusive DLC, it won't be a big deal because Sony has exclusive content on the 3 most hyped up games.

And if they showed Halo 5 no one will be surprised as you implied because everyone knows its coming.

Yea with XBL Platinum Services which cost $120 a month, and then years down the road features which used to be offered in gold, will be Platinum only (Some games used to be free with Silver Accounts, like Halo 3 and Lost Planet, and discounts were permanent on old first party games, like free maps in Gears 1 and super cheap DLC in PGR4)

GTA was always a timed exclusive for Playstation. Xbox didn't get vice city until like 2 years after PS2, and it didn't get San Andreas until a year after PS2. Losing that timed exclusivity on GTA was a huge deal

And nobody implied there would be another shirt sleeve incident. It was just a big deal at the time.

kowenicki implied it. ;)

Kowen implied it. ;)

I don't think he did. Somebody said the only meltdown after a MS E3 conference came after the FFXIII announcement, and Kowen replied that there was also one after the shirt sleeve incident. He never implied they would repeat the shirt sleeve moment again.

Definitely wouldn't rule out another meltdown though

We'll see what happens

If it will get me all your infos, then yes.

If not, then no, of course not, haha!

You know, you could just have a look at my MS E3 prediction thread...

I'm not sure how much of that will come true now, but I nailed it for their reveal of Xbox One....

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
