Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft – Xbox One Will Surprise The World At E3

"surprise the world" sounds extremely casual.
Hope you guys weren't counting on seeing core games

Well the conference is only so long, even if they show 3 core games, just 3 in detail out of the 15, it would be enough IMO.

Blacktusk IP and Rare core IP, with 3rd surprise. Very realistic expectation.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Actually, the original article says the plan to spend more than a billion in the next year, not for the whole generation

Also, @VGKing:
"Yes, fifteen is a high number, and it's an aggressive and ambitious one," Davidson said. "I think it's a huge testament to the faith that Microsoft has in this platform. And that's not even counting third party! You'll hear about new third party games at E3, so that's going to be exciting too.

Not counting 3rd party is a very interesting thought, meaning Ryse and Quantum are seperate!

Well I'm not sure we can assume that, as those are probably both considered 2nd party games. It does however mean that things like the rumoured Dead Rising 3 exclusivity won't count towards this number

How long is it exactly? I heard 90 minutes

1 billion in 1 year?
So 15 games = 1 billion
= 15 AAA games @ 66.7 million per game

The most expensive games in history.

Are we sure it's not 200m on games and 800m on advertising?

Just because Microsoft has a monopoly on the OS doesn't mean its good, Bing, Zune and windows 8 for example.
Xbox certainly didn't make MS a whole lot of profit. Just the way you talk is just childish.

I'm sure they have a even higher number of exclusives to tell us. It will be at least 17 or even 20!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

lol oh u

1 billion for the forseable future on games, spread out offcourse.

Not including publishing and 1st party efforts, as they are allready part of MS's normal operations.

mmm that sounds about right. Make those three games must haves and it should be more than enough.

lol I hope criticizers don't honestly expect MS to reveal all 15 exclusives within an hour and a half. Gotta spread dem out!!!

Well I hope so. I really do like the whole concept of the xbone. I just need to see some games first.
