Yeah most of them seem to think life is just about being macho and trying to act tough all the time. Sad really.

Feel entitled? What are you talking about? Sounds like you're making some huge assumptions.

First of all, the way most schools are set up, the methods of teaching highly favor girls. There is also a large discrepancy in the efforts that have been made to help female students in science and math, despite the fact that males students are MUCH further behind in reading skills, which is arguably more important. If this continues, the trend of girls outnumbering boys in college is going to continue to grow.

There are also cultural differences to consider. Where I live, a lot of boys start working in High School, and are expected to get a job immediately upon graduation. As such, the focus passed down from their parents is rarely on study skills.

I know my father told me that he wasn't going to send me to college. I did well on tests but I didn't try that hard to get good grades by doing all the extra stuff students with good grades engage in. In 11th grade I got the highest SATs in my class and was invited to Duke for some kind of award but my father didn't even consider it. Just a flat 'no'. I think his intention was that I follow him into the construction business.

There are a LOT of factors in the trend of male students falling behind. Just blaming it on a feeling of entitlement doesn't cut it.

I think its a general issue with Americans, not just whites.

You'll commonly see those of immigrant parents who are far more studious and focused than those who have at least a few generations of US born parents.

So its not "white males" who feel entitled, its Americans in general. Of course this likely affects men more than woman simply because women have to work harder to get the same evaluation as men. They have more to prove basically and less likely to be class idiots as they don't need to do that to impress the opposite sex.

This is why I'm moving my kids to a school that is always top of my state, always top 3 in nation, and always in top 10 of planet. It focuses on what non-US schools do well and pushes kids to be their best. Sure they'll have more work, but a little work never killed anyone and as I tell my kids all the time, "work hard now so you can play hard later".

Maybe its a school of dumbass white boys? i never got "awards" in elementary school i was a bad little shit.

tbh I wish we had your problems.  We have white people geting the certificates and immigrants of a specific "ethnicity" just doing nothing and creating gangs and whatnot because the state is a welfare state and they get money for doing absolutely nothing.

I mean I am totally okay with getting  IT specialists from India or Pakistan or whatever but why do we let lazy farmers into our country that just like "roleplaying" as parasites? makes no sense to me.  And the best part is that they can bring all their brothers sisters uncles aunts etc with them because we allow the whole family to come over.....  We need people that are of USE to us.

But I guess the actual problem is WHY do people no matter of what ethnicity act like your whites and our immigrants.

I see several reasons.
1.Whites think as you said  "we are good no need to worry".
2. Immigrants think  "I want our kids to have a better life then we had!"
this results in what you  see in the US

But then there is the immigrants that were spoiled who saw how much you get for doing absolutely nothing who now think "well doing nothing at all is way better than trying in our old home/ some people who work get exactly the same money I do so why would I start to contribute at all?" This is the problem we have.

We should stop giving them money for doing nothing we should give them coupons so they cant buy whatever they want.

I mean its simply not okay for them to own Iphones or video game consoles  HDTVs and e-guitars or drums (I know people that own those things....)

Its an INSULT to every hard working person. And is also the reason why whites start to think the same way. "Why should those parasites get everything for free? I will also start to do absolutely nothing!"

I am very interested in this topic. Actually I think the OP is wrong on caucasians being entitled I think it has nothing to do with race and more with the the education system in America favouring females. Even if you look at textbooks for SAT and ACT exams most of them have females in the book's cover.

From a personal experience I can verify that this is true as I once visited a high school in the US to take the ACT and the difference on male to female ratio was huge, almost 7 to 3. There were girls of almost all ethic groups though.

That sucks dude. Why is your dad like that? Maybe you could have gotten a degree in construction. You should have told him that Duke is one of the top universities in the country and it would have been a big advantage in the job market to have a degree from them.
