Now that Rayman Legends has officially been announced on PSVita I thought we should take a look at how Origins sold. 

Looking at the chart above  Rayman Origins sold the most on PS3 while selling the least on PSVita, which i'm sure is no suprise to many. What I find the most interesting is how evenly they all sold throughout their "lives". 

So how do you guys think Legends will sell on each platform?

• PSV STD    -321,518-     FW Sales  -48,823-  (technically 2nd week but 1st week was during 1st edition launcho f the Vita)

• Origins came out roughly 3 months later on PSVita and nearly 8 months later on 3DS.
• PSVita sales do not include digital sales which could put it on par with the Wii version.
• Total STD  -2,149,578-

abysmal 3ds sales for that game, why are they so low?
i know it's a late port but still, i would expect better from a system with an install base of 30M+

So 3DS wins? Less STDs.

Not bad at all, and bloody amazing given the differences in installed base.

This, I think, is the magic of a system not having many games. "Blue ocean", as it were. Why so few seem to understand that magic, I'm not sure.

It was a VERY bad port released with little fanfare on a system where good 2D platformers wouldn't be rare.

Technically yes but nobody likes games that are low on STDs :)

it was not a bad port, dont know where people get that from, it is the worst version of them all. But its still worth it if you dont have no other access to another version(unlikely). How about total sales instead of just FW?

I doubt Legends will sell as well on Vita as Origins did since it won't get caught up in the launch hype.

It sold better on psvita because it launched with it and it was the only platformer.. 3DS port wasn't that bad to get abysmal numbers but was so late.
On the other hand, i still think Legends will sell better on Vita. People have felt the real experience in it and it can even outsell the other consoles on the long run..

I bought Origins for my Vita and loved it, the game was perfect for the handheld so shall be getting Legends on it instead of my PS3
