" bait and switch"
Up to wii u launch: here are the games, no software droughts like before, commitment to 3rd party support and Ninty is willing to release the unfinished wii u before it is ready
immediatly after the holiday sales season: most key games delayed for indefinitly and/ or till better sales environments exist, now not willing to release games probably more complete than the wii u was at launch, third party support evaporates due to poor selling environment and simply following Nintendo s own lead re the Wii U - if Ninty is not going to support the Wii u till a later date yet to be determined then why in the world would 3rd parties support it- the only group of people to lose out more than wii u launch purchasers ( like me buying one for my son's b-day) are the 3rd party dev s and publishers that did release games on the Wii u to date- their sales have been disasterous.
For these core reasons plus researching Nintendo s past business practices- specifically console launch practices; it is obvious to me that most of us who purchased the Wii u from launch thru early January were the recipients of a considerable bait and switch pulled off by Nintendo.
I hope they can make it up to us in the future but I will never buy anything again from Nintendo based on their words -
