Huh? In addition to the touch screen, there is a touch pad on the back that they could use as well. |
my bad, i meant the touchpad on the back. you can't see where you're toching with it.

that's great, some rayman games are really good and since origins is one of them, i'm sure this will be great as well.

You have the ability to approximate the position of your fingers though |
I don't think this would be as precise as with the WiiU stylus, though.

You have to look away from the TV to use it, though. |
Who cares, the game looks just as good on the gamepad.
Probably the Vita version will be the second best after the Wii U version. In the end the Wii U version hast coop, multiplayer-levels and the best graphics.
PS3/Xbox360 version is an afterthought because the game not really fit there. A 3DS version could be nice if done right.

Well then he could just use the front touch.

This may be possible in the story mode, but trust me - in the challenge mode you won't want to even block 10% of the screen with your finger. Too many manipulatable objects in a too short amount of time. It would drastically improve the difficulty. I already tried playing the WiiU version with my finger - never again.

Not as good as on Vita. Got you there! |
I'll reserve judgement of this until I've maybe played a demo of the PSVita version, but let me tell you this: The difference between WVGA and FullHD in this game IMO is pretty negligible (I don't really see a difference between the picture on my TV and on the gamepad), so the difference between the Gamepad and the PSVita will be even less.
