i wish they had that google fiber were i live
that thing is just a beast

There will come a time when streaming games is as flawless as playing the hard copy, and at that point I don't see an issue. In the meantime I loved playing PS3 games on PSP the very select times it was possible. Now that I will be able to play every PS4 game on Vita I am very excited. We are nearing the point when we never have to stop playing. That is what streaming brings, any device, any time.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

To say the Xbox One doesn't stream games isn't exactly true. It does, but not quite the same way that the PS4 will.
The Xbox One will stream down the game to the console. So, you'll start playing the game, and while you're playing the remainder of the game will stream down. Much like movies via Torrent. Every game you buy, retail or digital, will be available to you in the cloud. So that no matter what console you're at, yours or someone else's, you'll be able to access your game and play it.
The PS4 will stream down video output of the game you're playing, sending your input up to the server. So essentially you're playing the game on remote virtual machines. It's a really cool concept, especially with older games.
Microsoft's solution doesn't prevent it from offering streaming sometime in the future. And Sony's solution doesn't mean it can't offer the same features that Microsoft is offering. Thus, you have the two companies approaching the cloud and how they'll use it from two different angles.
I like what both companies are doing, however I do think Microsoft's approach is taking into consideration the nature of broadband Internet in the United States. That said I'm interested in how well Sony will be able to provide backward compatibility via streaming.
i have interest in a future where i can stream my game to any tv in the world instead of needing a console. as the xbone and ps4 do it,.. i think the use cases are too limiting to be all that useful.
Well its going to be a long time before something like Google Fiber will be widely available. Its coming somewhat close to where I live (187miles/300 km) pretty soon since Google Fiber is coming to Austin, Texas in the near future.

Like the guy said xbox one is just a gimmick atm and this cloud and server 300k thing is a big lie! |
LOL.....
It's better than streaming television. I just want to play Gran Turismo 2 and 3 again.
