with PS4 giving the ability to stream video games, and Xbox One using cloud computing, which indicates that they will move to fully streamed video games, my question is, are you interested in streaming video games?

pesonally i have a very bad internet connection, but if i did have a good one then yes, i am interested. having the ability to play video games on pretty much any device is very cool. all i need to do is sing in on any device. i just sing in, and play right away. i could also lend my friends the game by simply letting them sing into my account, and vise versa. i wouldnt have to worry about storage, or losing my game, breaking my disk or anything. i will always have the game no matter what.

Note : this is about streaming video games, not consoles. if a console war does break out trust me, i will use the report button. dont derail my thread please.

we barely know anything about xbox one to call it just a gimmick, but thats not the issue. please stay on topic

No but i'm interested in watching people stream games

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

I'm interesting in jumping in and out of what my friends are playing and vice versa. Great way to talk to people and check out what they are playing.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

I tell you what I am interested in, the whole cloud computing/streaming stuff. If it is indeed able to make the Xbox One more powerful it will be interesting to see how things play out sales wise next gen. I think if it is able to provide a significant amount of horse power it will be a major factor in the way people view streaming games. That however, remains to be seen.

Yeah, I've beaten several games using OnLive. I wish they would bring it to current gen consoles to extend their life.

I thought this thread was about live streaming, hahaha. If the internet ever hits puberty I'd love to stream some games, but I find the cloud to be better served as a augmented delivery service rather than the dedicated format.

I've never tried cloud/streaming gaming before and I'm open to new things....

Who knows, 10 years from now that's what the gen at the time will be based on, or even now. We still don't fully know anything really with either the Xbox ONE or the PS4.

Maybe if I had Google Fiber or a similar super fast internet provider without any data caps but as of right now the answer is no.
