Forums - Nintendo - Will Wii U have a hardware boost next week?

Being all multi-platform and fairly unimportant titles I don't think this will motivate people to suddenly buy a WiiU. It's not like playing them on WiiU would be better than their current (or cheaper) option of 360/PS3.

However, it might convert enough to keep WiiU's sales from falling further this week or a tiny, insignificant bump.

@OP

I honestly wouldn't think so, no. I don't think anyone is going to buy a Wii U finally, just for a remake of RE Revelations. Sales aren't going to rise until A) many new games are finally revealed, and some RELEASE DATES given, at E3. And B) When some of those games, especially Mario, finally come out.

When that happens, and sales rise, I'm sure that many new Wii U owners would be likely to go back and pick up games like Scribblenauts, Zombi U, RE Revelations, MH3 Ultimate, Lego City, etc.

But third party generally doesn't move Nintendo hardware. I think the only times in Nintendo's history that may have happened, was when SFII was SNES exclusive (and the SNES was already selling great anyway), and when RE4 was GC exclusive.

Small-Medium multiplats? Not noticeably I suspect.

nobody cares lol...

nintendo is a phantom at this point haha

These games are not games which will boost sales. Everything is available on other platforms but perhaps we'll see a slight increase.

reported, we dont need people like you in these forums, besides your are probably just an alt

I think the best system seller is indeed the xbone reveal.

It won't be because of those titles. E3 hype and unofficial price cuts would be my bet.
