I suspected he was joking and the "i found Samus" one kinda confirms it

Now, i would suspect otherwise in the past, that people could be calling Samus "Metroid," and not knowing of her would have been a thing, but after, especially, SSB Brawl, even non-Metroid players should know that Samus is Samus (and a woman).

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

LOL this is brilliant XD. And still he managed to complete the game. Dat motivation.

And it took him only eight hours to do it. If you don't sequence break this basically means you breezed through the game without being stuck often...

Yeah, I imagine he sorta became self-aware after a certain point and thus continued the joke, as it were. The "I found Samus" one was the real giveaway, but still, some of these posts are genius.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Love it

The number of people not reading the text once they receive a new item is astonishing. I'm fairly certain it is explained how to equip missiles the first time you get them.

Also funny: Players who don't know how to sprint xD

That actually happened to me. I rearranged the button placement, so I put A button on B and X on Y, but I didn't do the same the other way around. Derp fail :D

Ahahaha, I made a similarily stupid mistake. I activated "moonwalk" in the options the first time I started the game, now I can't turn around when using the charge beam. And since I mostly save via save state it would take me at least ~1hr  to continue to the point I currently am :/

What's the problem? Save at a save station, quit the game, load your file and change the control settings.

I currently defeated Ridley and am at ~60 health without any reserve tanks. At the last few attempts I died while trying to cross the room which now is filled to the ceiling with acid. No save station in reach :/

Then don't go through the room that is filled with acid?

There is another route? Now I feel stupid...

Pauly's "I just beat the eagle..." screenshot is a room that is located east of the acid filled room, right? Exit that room to the left and go straight to the left through a wall that isn't an actual wall. No bombs or missiles required, just walk through it. This route should lead somewhere to upper Norfair. It's also the only way to get to the power bombs on Pauly's screenshot.

Thanks^^

(Maybe I should use the X-Ray more often afterall...)

Not sure if the X-Ray Visor makes that specific passage visible, but it works on everything else. That wall is really a special case.

Also, I opened a map of Super Metroid after my writing my previous post and there is a save room on the right side of the acid filled room. It's connected to the shaft that is right next of the acid filled room. Thought so, because it couldn't be that there is no save room whatsoever close to Ridley.

Heh, seems like I rushed down like an idiot in the excitement of finally being able to fight Ridley

Some people do still think Link is Zelda though, so I guess it could be done .
