Another Sony fan coming online and claiming his opinion as fact? Well, if I had a nickel for every time...

Seriously, I think I'd be the one challenging Bill Gates for the richest man on the planet not Carlos Slim.

Seriously

Nothing better to do I guess. I like how he starts his list of facts why MS failed with the name too. X1 sucks yo! Fact

Because yo it can cause confusion.

There was aready an Xbox 1 called the Xbox. Than the Xbox 360. Then the Xbox One

Kind of like the Wii U. Probably should have just called it Wii 2

Around the Network

There is one more thing: they faked voice recognition:)
Why this Yusuf guy is always getting his hand to his pocket, when he is saying something to Xbox One? Is he switching slides? Maybe he is activating voice recognition by remote hidden in his pocket? See for yourself and tell me what you think.

It starts from around 9:35

Ya I'm sure it'll cause tons of confusion in the market seeing as how the original Xbox was sold for only a few years, and purchased only by the hardcore crowd. The broad market probably doesn't even know there was an Xbox before the 360. Go ahead, ask some random people on the street how many Xbox consoles have been released, I'll wait. They'll count the 360 slim before the original.

Mind blown. Thanks OP. This is hilarious.

I just did and they said wasn't there already and Xbox 1. Nah I kid, I didn't do that. That would be dumb. And asking me to do that is dumb 2 (see what I did there)

It causes confusion. There is an Xbox 360. Now an Xbox One. And the casual crowd, the people Microsoft is targetting, will go whats an Xbox One

PS4 doesn't have that issue. There is a PS3. Now a PS4. Easy to understand it's the next PS

Wii U should have been the Wii 2. The Vita should have been the PSP 2

You know what, I'm actually starting to see the actual point of the OP. It might not be spelled out very well, but the responses shows the point perfectly! Defenders only saying 'you might not like it, but I do', and that's not really refuting any of the worries/disappointments that haters has.

Haters are bringing forth arguments why certain things are bad (kinect watching you at all times, needs to connect online every 24th hour, paying a fee to play used games, name might be confusing) and defenders can't properly answer those points - all they do is saying 'that's not a big deal (for me)', but that's not a real argument. That's an opinion.

It seems to me only hard core xbox fans are defending the console, and that's how you know MS messed up big times. They should attract OTHER gamers as well except from those they already have.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Yeah. He said it pretty good lol

Sorry, I can't explain my arguments when the OP has Burt Reynolds as his avatar.

4. The reveal. I know some of you will be quick to point out that Microsoft said it wasn't going to focus on gaming until E3. Ok, when you have a reveal for your next GAMING CONSOLE, and you don't focus on gaming... you messed up. Pretty sure Microsoft made fun of Sony for not showing the PS4. The only thing Microsoft did right on May21st was show the console. And many a xbot wished they had handled it like Sony did.

Yeah Microsoft messed up.

The issue wasn't so much that their reveal didn't focus on games. That would have been fine, in the right context.

The problem was that they didn't even provide a solid reason for the lack of games until something like 12 hours *after* the event, when they went into damage control.

They could have opened up their event by going "We've got great games lined up, and we're excited to talk about them, but with E3 so close, we've decided to have a games spectacular at the show, and so we're going to focus on other features of the system right now."... accompanied by some images as teasers. Something as simple as that would have had everyone going into hype mode, speculating about what MS have in store. And if MS considered games to be the most important thing, they would certainly have done something like this.

The fact that they didn't, that games were an afterthought and something to bring out as damage control, rather than as something deserving of dedicated focus in an appropriate location, is what so many gamers are finding so offensive.

Nintendo, in their most recent Nintendo Direct, demonstrated just how much they've got in store for E3 by giving out a significant bit of gaming info ahead of time that would typically have gotten E3 focus. Sony have emphasised gaming repeatedly since the reveal, which I believe focused primarily on games. Microsoft, on the other hand, basically said that being an "entertainment hub" is more important to them than the games. And THAT is how they've messed up, in this respect.

But then, who didn't see this coming? Look at what MS has done with their other new/"upgraded" products over the last 5 or so years. I'm rather surprised that people didn't see this coming. Sony went through something akin to this situation with the whole rootkit fiasco - and that taught them enough of a lesson that they're not going to go all-in with the DRM until it's proven to be safe to do so. MS had no such lesson.

Why put something in your pocket when it could be done off stage and no one could tell, he says what he wants the Xbox to do before it does it, I could press a button from my PC while watching the stream to coincide with what he says to give the impression of voice recognition, lag might be an issue though!
