There was aready an Xbox 1 called the Xbox. Than the Xbox 360. Then the Xbox One
Kind of like the Wii U. Probably should have just called it Wii 2

Ya I'm sure it'll cause tons of confusion in the market seeing as how the original Xbox was sold for only a few years, and purchased only by the hardcore crowd. The broad market probably doesn't even know there was an Xbox before the 360. Go ahead, ask some random people on the street how many Xbox consoles have been released, I'll wait. They'll count the 360 slim before the original.

It causes confusion. There is an Xbox 360. Now an Xbox One. And the casual crowd, the people Microsoft is targetting, will go whats an Xbox One
PS4 doesn't have that issue. There is a PS3. Now a PS4. Easy to understand it's the next PS
Wii U should have been the Wii 2. The Vita should have been the PSP 2
