More pertinent is - is there anything real about it?

I'm not an expert on hacking. For all I know, these pictures really do show that this person has had access to Xbox Live. Are you an expert? I didn't think so.
I'm not saying its real, I'm not saying its fake. Don't let your emotions cloud your judgement. If this WAS real, wouldn't you want to know? Brushing it off just because you don't like it is exactly what was done with the RROD back in the day. They are isolated incidents, Microsoft said. Well they are also saying Xbox Live wasn't hacked. They have been known for lying so its alright to be skeptical.
Desperately reaching springs to mind for some reason.
I've got no emotions involved.
It just looks like some guy logging into a VPN. Where's the list of gamertags? Addresses? Credit Cards? I just see some folder names.
Also, when the source/OP starts quoting The S*n - most of it's credibility is lost. I'm a Liverpool supporter, don't get me started on them and their lies.
Actually, when their only source of evidence of any prior hack is The S*n, I DO get a bit emotional.
25 years. Never forget. Don't buy The S*n.

Then people have just stated that it is fake and given proof. If you don't know, why are you still doubting?

Oh, I would like to know. But what you said next doesn't make any sense, and feels odd. Why did you need to bring RROD in this?

They're not the only ones, you know.

The list of accounts was fake. The person supposedly had 48 million accounts. None of my accounts were in that 48 million accounts. If there are 48 million Xbox LIVE accounts, as reported by Microsoft, and they have 48 million accounts, my accounts should have shown up. My accounts have been there since day 1.

Of course Deus Ex was right.
In Deus Ex New York stage the Twin Towers were missing though the game was released long time before 911

That's right.
In fact they had planned to put content in game about how a terrorist attack destroyed the Twin Towers. They had to cut that content out at the last moment, but forgot to put the towers where they should have been. Kinda spooky, don't you think?

So there were actually 48million "fake" accounts leaked onto the net?
Who would take the time to do all of this? Random username generator? What would even be the point of faking this? Gaining reputation? Bad PR for MS?
