For me personally, I will love Nintendo's Direct, but overall it's gonna be tough. Sony did about everything right!

Really? I mean, Sony's conference was solid... but I don't think it was anything mindblowing. They ignored Vita (again), their console is anything but a looker, you're now going to have to pay to access multiplayer, and all their "big" reveals at the conference were multiplat (Assassin's Creed IV... which froze , Watch_Dogs, Destiny, and Elder Scrolls Online are all available on another console or PC).

As far as showing off the games, I thought the Microsoft conference was better... although as a complete conference I thought Sony did have the edge (their jabs at Microsoft were pretty hilarious).

It's going to be REALLY hard for Nintendo to outdo or match Sony's conference. It's going to have to be about the games from beginning to end. No filler.

Vita is dead. Beyond dead.

KH3 and FF15 were excellent announcements and revived an otherwise boring conference. $399 is impressive even though they will now pay for online.

8/10 based on SE alone.

So, what did everyone think?

Also, more secrets from Nintendo...

What's behind there...

I'm starting to realize why I have a Nintendo console every generation, even if it is sitting next to my Xbox and PS. Sometimes, after all the dust settles, you just want to go back to basics. FUN GAMES. Sometimes the eye bleeding CODs, etc. just wear on you and you just want to get your Mario on. Seriously.

Bring it Nintendo.

Oh, and here is hoping that a 399 ps4 forces Nintendo to go 299 or, dare I say, 249! Wii U will probably be the only next gen console I get this year, with a slight possibility for PS4. Xbox is just too much and I really want to see DRM crash and mother f*ckin burn.

Now... what I want from Nintendo:

- ZERO mention of Pikmin 3, W101, Rayman, WD, Batman, AC:BF or any of those titles.

- 5 minutes of Bayonetta and X at most. Launch window for at least one of them.

- 5 minutes of Wii/Nintendo series at most. No live demos.

- Don't dare forget the 3DS. You have been doing amazingly with it.

- No social/sports talk.

- As a side wish, I want the place of the direct to be changed to be fitting to a special celebration.

This is why I gave them an 8/10. Good. Not GREAT!

Did you forget SE's appearance though?

I thought Sony did amazing, a great 9. When will these people start on time for once.

don't waste time

I quite enjoyed Sony's conference, even though I'm not really a playstation fan. Now to see if Nintendo can rise to the challenge and deliver a great Direct... if it's anything like January's, then I'm sure I'll be very happy :D.

- They've failed you

- Hmm, that could come true.

- They've probably failed you.

- I doubt they will.

- Nintendo doesn't usually talk about sports. (Other than their own.) But Social? They probably will.

- I'm pretty sure it has.

I think you'll be alright with the Direct tomorrow!
