Nothing new besides DKC TF? Now that`s bad news.
I sincerely hope the Nintendo hour at Gametrailers/Spike will give us something more because if it doesn`t... oh, boy.

The Direct was good, but not was good... but they could have done it better.

Mario Kart looks good, as well as The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2.

X looks very impressive and I like that they have finally put Mega Man on Smash. And using cell shaded graphics for the 3DS version while using "normal" ones for the WiiU version is a very good idea.

I'm let down that Retro is doing Donkey. Yes, it's a big IP and the game will sell a lot, but it's not what we wanted from them (after all Donkey Kong is not the "game everyone wants us to do" game we thought). My only hope is that Donkey is being made by the 2nd team while the other one is doing something that pleases us.

And that 3D Mario... For the 3DS? It would be great. But for WiiU? C'mon, what the hell are they thinking?!

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

So I just re-watched it. Some of my rage is gone. The quality is much better in HD. Soo...

Positives:
-Mariokart 8 looks excellent.
-Mario 3D World looked solid, polished and - with the locked camera - accessible. 4 player is a great addition.
-WWHD looked beautiful, with tremendous improvements.
-X was an absolute stunner, some of the best graphics anywhere. Can be sure the gameplay will be solid too.

Cons:
-No bombshells. Nothing.
-No price drops, nothing to spur the hardware.
-Mario 3D is very safe, very bland.
-Retro's doing another DK. Seriously? We just had one. And a Mario. And another Mario is coming. It looks like a solid game, but come one. Variety is needed.
-Nothing exciting in the Wii-game category.
-Third party support is truly poor. There are some solid games, but nothing new. Without COD and some others, WiiU truly can't compete with PS4 or X1.

Nintendo really had a chance here to grab the market. Instead, it really looks like Wii U is moving into "secondary" console status, or - like Gamecube - one mostly for kids. Good games were shown and I think Wii U will do OK, but this e3 was not what Wii U needed. It needed more.

I accidentally bought 10 WiiU which watching X and cancelled all of them before Smash finishes.

Judging from the reactions in this thread and others, it looks like many Nintendo fans have finally come to the realisation that the Wii U is actually a GC successor, not a Wii successor. Yes, people. That is what it means to be disappointed. Get used to it, because Nintendo is stuck with this brick for at least five years.

I am ahead of the curve, so I can look at these games and say that I am looking forward to most of them. Smash is trash, like usual. Still no Kim Possible, still no buy.

Smash is genius, you comment is trash!

You need to learn how to treat people respectfully.

Go hug a hamster.

You need to learn how to treat Smash respectively!

Go hug Reggie!

He is under the influence again.

Well... I think I liked it more than most people. We got a new trailer for X, Bayonetta, and W101. We saw what Retro is making ( kind of wanted something new but I also loved DKCR.) We finally see Smash and IT HAS MEGAMAN!! Mario Kart 8 looks great. Super Mario 3D World is a better version of 3D land with multiplayer and that seems really fun. Wind Waker HD looks amazing and best of all... Nintendo is getting more indie developers joining them.

I thought this was very good(minus the terrible stream I watched it on.) Really want to see if they have any more announcements for 3DS but this was Nintendo Direct was Great in my eyes. No big surprises but all of these games are going to be amazing so why complain. No megaton (other than Megaman!!!!!!) but it was still great.
A good 8

SO. MUCH. NOSTALGIA. E3 IS FLOWING WITH IT.

don't waste time

Probably the most accurate thing Ive read on the internet in a long time.  Not necessarily a bad thing.  The Wii was an exception, but this is who Nintendo has been, at it's core, since the N64 days.  Their first-party titles are more of the same, sure, but they're still strong and will likely be very fun to play.

It's all about the game.

No one found it strange that there was no Virtual Console talk?
