Forums - Microsoft - Xbox One is great. No negativity allowed.

It's not about trying to be dictatory. Discussion is welcome in every thread but when people want to discuss what they are excited about in a positive environment, it's difficult to stay positive when you see nothing but negative criticism.

Understandable. Other threads have done this type of thing without Moderator permission, to my knowledge, though.

I like the rumble feature on the individual triggers haha  I think that will be pretty interesting.  I thought the original X360 controller looked better design wise though.  Just my opinion though.

That's a thing? Hm, interesting. (I haven't looked fully into the XBO, that's why I could only comment on desgins.)

I'm not sure about that. The 360's was nice, but this one has more "flare"!

It's probably one of those things where I have to hold the controller before saying anything about the design.  It just appeared a little bigger to me.  I though X360 controllers was the perfect size.  It may just be an illusion to me though.

Negativity? I don't see any, you must be crazy!

Perfect console, just all that I wanted, more TV while I play, more Kinect so I lose some weight, more sports, more Call of Duty! Fuck hitting giant enemy crabs for massive damage too, I prefer realistic, emotive police dogs that care about me.

And better yet, now I don't have to borrow my games to those stupid cousins who scratch my discs and stain my perfect game manuals with their greasy hands.

To hell with Sony's PS4 fanboys and games and games and games. PS4 only does gaming, I don't need that useless piece of overpowered gaming machine.

Who has it preordered already and who will preorder it?

I only know about Kowe on VGC and some other real life friends.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I don't.  I like what I saw but I'm still waiting for E3 to see the games from Sony/MSFT.  depending on who has the better lineup (imo) is the one I will be getting first.

Some things I liked about it: the controller to me looks very nice. Basically an upgrade from the X360 controller (best of all console controllers in my opinion) so improving upon that is something to be excited for. I like that they added vibration sensors in the triggers and that you will be able to feel more immersed in a game due to the sensation improvements on the controller.

I think the design is fine. Nothing real curvy or fancy. It just looks straight up like a PC box, or a electronic box in my entertainment center. I wasn't honestly wanting anything flashy. Its just simple with a powerful look.

Very excited about the 15 exclusives and that they are working on more exclusives at this moment in time than they have ever been. That is indeed encouraging. Just hoping many of them are high end AAA titles. But none the less good news to me.

The initial Kinect for X360 was alright and all, but it was true that it at times had some flaws in detection. It looks as if Kinect 2.0 is a substantial improvement with the play space being bigger and even the ability to be just a couple feet away from your TV for it to detect your motions.

Honestly some may be complaining about all the multitasking, but I for one like what I have seen so far. I like the seamless switching between apps, movies, games, video chat, ect. It seems fast and simple. As long as Microsoft puts a big emphasis on their games I'm happy to have all the extra stuff and will use it.

The possibilities of the cloud enabled network are exciting. The thought of this being used for future games to utilize resources in the cloud makes for endless possibilities in gaming.

All the DRM, and always online stuff will be hashed out and the chips will fall where they may. I'm sure the designers and leads on the system realize (or will realize) what their customers want. And if there are issues with any new policies they are implementing then they will be changed. They want to be profitable just like any company and If any DRM or always online policies become a hindrance to them selling and making a profit then that will change.

I would have loved to see more games in the reveal, but I know they were trying to focus more on the console and its features for the console reveal then dive into a lot of the games for E3. So I'm sure we will know a lot more about what it will be offering gamers after their reveals at E3. So far I was pretty happy with what I saw on the infrastructure side of the console and will reserve any final thoughts until I know Game releases, price, and policies are official.

which games?

I preordered CoD (just had to get the next gen CoD) and Quantum Break, because the concept of a mix between a TV series and a game is very cool. And Remedy are talented people.

I went Forza 5, Battlefield 4 and Quantum Break. The best launch games Ive ever bought. I know thats premature for all we know they may all bomb. But knowing the devs and there history, I have 90% assurance they will provide AAA software that is truly next gen.

The thing that interested me the most about Microsoft's conference was the fantasy sports and Skype potential, as I would love to watch a game and talk trash with a couple of my friends when we can't meet up at a bar to watch sports. With that being said, I'm more of a fan of basketball than I am of football; I would probably be locked on Xbox One if Microsoft reached a deal with the NBA.
