With the overhead from the game OS running in a virtual machine on Xbone vs the lack of this with the thin OS of the PS4, if anything the difference will widen. That's what I think will happen anyway. But we'll see.

So to take advantage of this, you'll have to be ALWAYS ONLINE. There's those two words again. It's going to be a huge negative for MS if they start coming out with "Online Required" single player games, just so they can match the visual prowess of the PS4. I doubt they will, as those games probably wouldn't sell too well. Then again, I thought they would have changed their minds about requiring the internet, at all.

I don't and I know more features they'll use for gaikai but this doesn't improve the experience you'll have with it if your internet-connection is crap.

LOL Sony bought themselves an extra to their infrastructure, and MS just bought off Europe if they even want a Xbox One.

Not that kind of football. They made a deal with the NFL, American football.

The Xbox One apparently will be running 3 OS types which will cause 3GB of the 8 to be in use, which means at the end of the gen they better hope ram usage is is low. On Windows in the current gen the most ram I've seen for a game on Windows is 2-3 GB for the Witcher 2 and I dont even want to know about Crysis. Next gen its going to expand for sure to show people to major power difference between next gen and the current gen.

There is no "hope", this is hard facts. By now it seems they use 3gb of ram. Done.

Putting aside what you know, there are by now 5 gigs of ram available for games which is, like you said, more than twice of what's currently needed. But of course this is only half of the truth as you didn't say anything about video-memory.

Now, what did you want to say again, especially when replying to me in the context of a virtual machine?
