The PS4 uses cloud tech as well. Hes definitely talking about the entertainment features and the importance of being online, not what really matters.LOL

Sony spent 380 mil $ on Gaikai, MS spent 400 mil $ on fantasy football.

"uses cloud tech as well" yes. They even use the same electricity like ps4. Everything MS does, also Sony does. Crappy article-author not seeing that!

LOL Sony bought themselves an extra to their infrastructure, and MS just bought off Europe if they even want a Xbox One.

They said the environment was more mature, that doesn't necessarily mean the development tools. I would imagine expanding their servers from 15k to 300k probably took up some of that time.

Hahaha, yes, really :)

This "cloud thing - "let's use the world to calculate where to the bullets fly in my game" is just marketing talk. I'm sure people with bandwidth caps / slow internet speeds / high ping rates will be very happy to hear that their games will be 10 fps in the future/shut down within a few hours/whatnot.
There was/is a (more or less confirmed, apparently) rumour that MS is 6 months behind schedule in the software department and no amount of "bbbbbut look I can switch from tv to game within 2 seconds" is going to help them here. it will be interesting to see what happens when both consoles start to sell. This time, there is no 12-15 month advantage, no price advantage, apparently no developer friendlier tools advantage. And yes, the gpu disadvantage will show up in non-lazy developer's work..

Yep anyone who checked the specs, will see that multiplats will be better on the PS4 now until the end of the gen. Actually when the ram requirements get larger Sony will start pulling further away because RAM increases the fidelity of the games. They have 7 GB of ram open for dedicated gaming and MS only has five.

That's what I am always saying since Sony said they will use Gaikai for "bc". And most probably you will even have to pay for it.
