Where's the "like" button when you need one?

How the hell is the Wii U bad? Is Nintendo stop producing 1st party games for it? I love Nintendo because it produce the best 1st party games out of the three so I'm confident that the good games will be there.

I'll end up getting both eventually but my primary console is looking to be the PS4.

I get where your coming from, and I too have had my share of run-ins with the various ultra Sony fanboys on this site(you can probably guess who I'm referencing there), however they also a lot of great Sony fans here as well. You shouldn't let the bad fans stop you from enjoying the PS4, it won't stop me.

As long as most major 3rd party games come to Wii U, I will have no reason to get another console. I don't care about better graphics.

I plan to be a single console owner next generation and I will pick up a PS4. Last gen I bought a XBox 360 first and then bought a PS3 later on. XBox One announcement has killed my interest in buying an XBox One and now I will get a PS4.

3rd gen: Sega Master System 2

4th gen: SNES

5th gen: PS1, traded it for an  N64

6th gen: XBox

7th gen: XBox 360 and PS3

8th gen: Plan on buying a PS4 

Understandable, but you do realize the individual responsible for the great majority of those mistakes related to the PS3 has been renounced many years ago, right? Sony has been making the best of the situation they had, and in my opinion, they've been doing a find job. With that said, with him gone, their 'new vision' for the future and the unprecedented praise and support the PS4 is getting, I do not think the PS4's opening will be akin to the PS3's.

As for the fanbase ... well to be honest, I dislike the great majority of Sony/Microsoft and Nintendo gamers I meet. In fact, I only like my real gaming friends. But that will not deter me from picking up either of the systems from the aforementioned companies. These consoles should be bought for what they provide, and not based on the reactions of a small fraction of gamers on the internet. Even some Sony fans don't get along and can't stand each other. They're different, and the most extreme ones are usually attracted to forums like this one.

Wii U ... good luck with that one. I intend to get one, but I do not see that system getting much support. 3rd parties are already excluding it because it lacks the technological wherewithal, and others because of relatively poor sales or the relatively poor relations Nintendo has with them. To each his own, but I could not game on a Wii U exclusively, and that's where the other systems come in.

I'll be getting all systems. I'm giving Microsoft a chance, but if they fuck up I'll pass. For now it's X1, PS4 and Wii U.

Yeah, but the choice is between PS4 and Ouya. It all comes down to what shit Sony decides to pull with the used game thing.

I've always been a one console man. I can't justify to myself the expense of owning 2 same generation consoles.

If Ouya's gonna do annual upgrades and I opt out of PS4 I might get a 3rd gen Ouya. If they make it to a 3rd upgrade it probably means it's a reasonably viable console.

Don't get me wrong, I think Wii U (and any system really) needs good 3rd party support. I'm still hopeful that despite EA's nonsense, that Wii U wil l get better 3rd party support than Wii did. I think the power disparity will not be AS big an issue this gen, as the Wii U's GPU is still fairly powerful. And I think so long as Wii U gets big franchises like CoD, GTA (rumored), Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs, etc., that it will be just fine. We'll see.

But yes, it's the big 1st party franchises that really sell Nintendo systems, and if rumors are to be even half-believed, we're in for some greatness.......
