Forums - PC - EA Sports Ignite Engine Not Coming To The PC

Obviously, the PC just can't handle it....

Expect most of their games to be canceled for PC, PC better take notice!

And EA wonder why they were voted worst company in the US.

Oh, and PC a generation behind PS4/Onebox kunfermed.

If it makes you feel better, the last version of Madden released on PC was 08.

2008.

As a Wii U and PC only gamer who likes to play season mode with my old college room mates, this kind of pisses me off.

DRM

Same reason Nintendo is blacklisted. Same gimped support Nintendo will get later for these contractual based franchises. Same reason I'll keep banning EA games.

Ps4/XOne have the DRM in place EA wants and has in Origin. Nintendo and many other PC purchases do not have that DRM.

That makes no sense as all EA PC games require Origin and they can use whatever DRM they want.

However, there is a big difference in PC as a very high number will have cracked versions of EA games to skirt the Origin connection. That is almost impossible on consoles.

I'm personally crossing my fingers hoping that Bioware's games still get PC support, and will be terribly disappointed if their franchises get content or timed-exclusivity with consoles (I prefer to play their games on PC).

It's funny how...selective EA's support for different platforms is, considering they work with everything from smartphones to PCs.

Have some time to kill? Read my shitty games blog. http://www.pixlbit.com/blogs/586/gigantor21

:D

I'm glad they are doing this. Because it really hurts their credibility when trying to push Origin as a viable service for the PC.
And it ensures they will get stomped by Valve who has a reputation second to none.
