So you get yours a few months after I sold mine... coincidence? I think not.

Welcome to the dark side. See you on the battlefield!
We hope to see you defending Sony and bashing Microsoft and Nintendo every chance you get.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Did you wait until the game quit completely? Make sure you're back at the XMB before ejecting the disc just to be safe.

Basically I'm asking if there's a proper way to eject a PS3 game after I quit the game and while the PS3's still on. I quit the game and pressed the eject button and saw the disc still going pretty fast before it slowed down, so I was wondering if that's normal or is there a way to stop the disc from spinning completely without turning the PS3 off? |
So long as your on the XMB it should be safe to take out the game.
Atto Suggests...:
Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series
Game - Metro Last Light
TV - Deadwood
Music - Forest Swords

Yes, that's normal.
To ignore Uncharted 2, Red Dead Redemption, Batman AC, and Mass Effect 2 would be a sin. All of them can be found under $20 a piece too so get on it.

If you prefer you can click on triangle (on the PS3 controller) on the game icon in the XMB bar and select "Remove Disc". So if that game isn't FFXIII then you better eject that ASAP!!

Doesn't that only work for the fat PS3?
My new super slim doesn't have that. Not sure about the slim though.
Oh right the newest PS3 is different!
What was the disc btw? Am curious.
