I thought that ghost looked pretty good. Battlefield 4 def has better graphics though.

COD looks really good, but Battlefield looks spectacular. The gap between them is closer than in last gen, and I bet there'll still be the 60fps-30fps difference on consoles, but you can't deny BF looks better, and with bigger, destructible environments and higher player counts it makes up for having half the fps.

Yes. Its Microsofts fault that the conference Microsoft organised only had 3 seconds of actual gameplay footage during the entire conference, from any game.

Im talking any gameplay. Over the entire show. 1st party. 2nd party. 3rd party.
3 seconds of gameplay in an hour conference to announce your console. Its Microsofts fault that Microsoft didnt have any meaningful gameplay to show.

Yeah. Lets be fair here and wait for E3. That being said, I just can't wait to play some new games on some new systems.
| kowenicki said: E3 hello? HELLO? anyone listening. exhibit a) a console reveal that showed a console and little gameplay - e3 to follow 2 weeks later exhibit b) a console reveal that didnt show a console and a little bit more gameplay - e3 to follow 4 months later |
Oh great youre bringing Sony into it. Theres a surprise.
Anyway. It doesnt matter if E3 is 2 Weeks away. If youre revealing a console, that plays videogames - a videogame console - then I think its a good idea to have gameplay rather than flashy, touched up trailers. Microsoft chose not to get any gameplay for the console reveal. Its Microsofts fault, nobody elses.
Oh, and because you insisted on bringing Sony up, let me enlighten you -
"Exhibit b" didnt have "a little bit more gameplay". Exhibit b had ~170x more gameplay, from one game alone. Yes. Killzone Shadowfall had 8 and a half minutes of gameplay, live at the conference. Compared to 3 seconds of gameplay from Call of Duty. Actually, the combined gameplay from Killzone and Watch_Dogs took up ~15 Minutes of the PS4 conference. This is ~1/8 of the entire PS4 conference.
You know what actually took up more than 15 Minutes of Microsofts conference? A focus on TV. Fucking TV. TV took up over 1/4 of the Xbox One conference, close to 1/3. Gameplay? ~1/1200 of the Xbox One conference was gameplay.
"Wait for E3" is bullshit. Sony had a conference 4 Months ago like you said and still had games. Guess what? They didnt just have games. They had details on what they have planned for the platform. They had developers talking about what the console was capable of. They had videogame developers actually revealing games and engines for a videogame console, at the conference focussed on the console! THEY WILL STILL HAVE GAMES AT E3, TOO!
I know. Games at 2 conferences for your videogames console. Its amazing, isnt it? Dont try to knock down Sony's conference just because they didnt show us a console 7-8 Months before it would be released, when they actually showed off stuff that the audience wanted to see. The reason why people liked the conference, is because we saw videogames. The reason why gamers were hyped after the conference... Is because gamers like videogames.
The audience wanted videogames. The primary audience for Xbox is people who want to play videogames. Microsoft didnt deliver videogames. Thats why theyre taking so much heat. Well, aside from the anti-consumer bullshit that theyre pulling.
