my favorite N64 stage was Saffron City. Lol. I loved the random pokemon coming out of the elevator.

There are some youtube videos of that stage if you want to see it. It's nothing special though..honestly I think Sakurai really failed on capturing what a sonic stage should have been. Oh well.
I don't know if you happen to care about this...but "Sonic Boom" the theme song from Sonic CD plays on that stage. When I first heard the song I freaked out, I love that song!
