Funny, I don't remember an outcry when Sony entered a multiple hundred billion dollar partnership with a sport a lot of people don't give a shit about.

:(

I usually watch NFL on my laptop and if I want to see stats, I look them up in another tab on NFL.com. Alternatively, you could use a laptop/tablet to check NFL.com for stats and highlights while you are watching the games on TV.

So what am I missing here? What exactly did Microsoft pay for that wasn't already available before?

You are watching sports on a laptop and ask what you are missing out?
Really?

I don't really feel like I'm missing out on anything honestly.

NFL isn't that only big in the states? It's basketball aye?

As much as I love the NBA and basketball in general the NFL is much bigger.  I can see a NFL team in Europe in the near future most likely one in London.

so MS forgot about the games. i need to see this confrecne

At current budget levels? At least two. :P

That's the funny thing about Microsoft. They've got all the money in the world to throw wherever they want.

Bloodbath Paddy Wagon Ultra 9

I though you could at stats on the Internet? wtf, and don't they show stats during pauses, They better have some superbowl exclusive access or something similar to make it worthwhile.

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

I think people are forgetting how much money MS has got. They are doing this for the long term. They're going to dominate the US that's for sure.

For comparison this is more than Sony paid for Gaikai and profited last quarter. Why even make an Xbox Microsoft if you spend more on T.V. than games
