MS confirmed all my worst fears at their conference and I'm clearly not their audience. I'll get Nintendo and Sony because their interests fit me (gaming first) and they will have the first party content to get me to drop the dough. Simple as that. MS has yet to prove they can bring the kind of titles I want in great enough quality to drop $200 on their system (still haven't bothered with 360 even though I've played Halo and Gears at a friend's). Nintendo and Sony have shown over 3 straight gens that I won't be disappointed or screwed over later in the console's lifecycle. I trust them. |
Well said, that's exactly how I see it, but I do own a 360.

I only said "sudden acceptance" because I remember seeing a games list and it had no 360 games, but you know what, nevermind my bad. You were the one PS3 fan I knew who had 360 games in their collection, I just remember looking at MUGENs game list and Ethomaz's too and a few others and forgot you also had a 360. I just remembered PC was your main platform and forgot you also had MS console platforms, my bad.
How do you feel about the XB One? I only owned a 360, and it gave me a sour taste, and XB One appears to be making the same mistakes 360 did, so it will be a late buy if at all for me.

The only issue with being labeled "x" fan are the limited implications. I'm a fan of PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Sega, PC. The latter is my main platform, yes, but I game on all.
Now as for X-One, I'm pretty excited for it. I'm sold on Ghosts and Quantum Break for Day 1 already, and this is still shy of all the E3 announcements.

You're right, it's good not to label, but I've never been in a non-Sony debate with you, and I've never read any comments by you that werem't about the PS3 or PC. So you give me an impression, and it's hard to forget. In reality, everyone has their own tastes in games, I'm sure you've seen me rant about JRPG's, and it's fine if you like games on one platform over the other. I don't think you condone too much, but why no Nintendo love? (If you're a fan of Nintendo, how come you have no Nintendo games?).
Do you often buy consoles near launch, and games day 1? Also how has Quantum Break sold you? All they showed was a boat hitting a bridge.....LOL
Do you often buy games and consoles day 1? I'm too cheap, and I've had too many 1st gen systems break on me. Plus I usually have too little time to play everything I want, so why buy a game day 1 only to play it a year later? Why not just buy it a year later for less? lol.
