They may allow a "demo" time frame, were you can play the game unhindered for a bit but once that is up. Something like this is going to mess up services like game fly, even if they go with a "rental pass" were you hold up a card to the kinect and it scans it to allow for non-account bound play for an extended time frame.
Looking at the Vita, Sony can still make a system for the PS4 like it where it restrict used game sales, it will still allow you to use the game for a certin number of times but after that. (Though there is a really easy way around that, at least there was the last time I checked.)
Uhmmm... for that to be true wouldn't the One require an Online connection to install a game? I mean how is another console going to know that disc was installed on a different console unless its all done through the internet?
So I'm reluctant to believe it right now.

That explains the EA MS deal.
I hope Sony won't do the same but they will apply the same thing.

MS still uses pass for ALL games and video players web browsers etc.

Demo time frame? If I want a demo I'll download a demo. This IS a deal breaker for me, unless the demo time frame is wide enough to allow me to play through games like Skyrim or GTA without cutting me off. Me and my friends always lend games from each other to save money, a console which does not allow this will not be bought.
Now video games are the only medium which completely block even legally bought physical copies. That's a line that should have never been crossed and certainly won't come through in Europe as it is illegal to my knowledge...

I'm confused because for that to be true the One must require an internet connection.
So I'm thinking either this is a miscommunication or confirms the One requires an online connection to play games at least initially.
