Right, but you don't announce a games console by not telling us about the games, that should be the number one priority.

Numbers don't mean anything without the games. They have tried to play the numbers games before and half of them have just been Kinect games.

They announced 2 new games, 1 new IP and Forza. The Quantum thing didn't look that interesting, but it is too early to right it off. I just don't care about Forza, though again, I won't write it off. So they have a lot of work to do

E3 has been a joke for the last 4 years now, I don't see it changing this year, since most publishers just announce the games before hand because E3 is just "Who got the biggest buck" popularity show these days, I fully respect Nintendo for doing what they're doing and giving E3 the middle finger and doing their own confrence instead, gamers sadly don't know how smart Nintendo is for doing that, we get our announcements through "Nintendo Direct" and those are really fun to watch instead of the "Look at me I am a girl and I like to dance to dance central on stage, because gamers are nerds and Xbox is for cool people" 

Honestly, isn't this more fun to watch than that "We are planning to make more money out of commercials!" Xbox confrence?

yes but now they have shown what the console can do os and kenict wise  so they dont have to spend as much time on those. 

sony still has to show the console, the os, move(if they bring in for the ps4) plus new games other then what has been showen. 

so yes this is not a normal console reveal as it showed more of the entertainment side of things but it frees up room at E3

But we were all watching then? I can understand the justification, but I don't feel it is a wise move. The people targetted on day one should be hardcore gamers, I don't feel that should wait until their second showing

-Timed exclusivity-Check.
-Kinect gestures out the wazo-Check.
-Conference majorly about entertainment that no one outside America will ever get-Check.
-Pretty much 0 gameplay footage-Check.
-Gaming being put on the backburner-Check.

By the time it got to the Halo being turned into TV show, I gave up. I hope for their sake those "15 exclusives" are actual good exclusives and not indie/arcade titles, Kinect shovelware or any kind of rubbish.

I'm just expressing my opinion , and to be frank I don't like Microsoft (as a whole) and Playstation (as upposed to Sony) lately , and I am favoring Nintendo's approach over them,  I am not hiding it in anyways.
