Sales, following, graphics (GT7), and physics. Just about everything.

I wonder if MS will bundle it...

GT6 will be fine it will not sell as much as GT5 but no second GT game on the same platform has.  It still will easily sell 8 million+ during its lifetime.  Also not everyone going to spend $400+ dollars on a new console just so they can play Forza 5.

That would be a sweet launch bundle but I doubt it.  Sometime next year is highly likely though.

lol because it is totally unfair. Offcourse the GT fans will not bring it up because of the generational gap. In all likelihood, Forza 5 will score a higher meta.

No question GT6 will sell more, but in every other regard expect the two games to be compared. It is Forza vs Gt after all. 

No... I mean no comparision because Forza 5 will not affect in any way the GT6.

Sales and following are essentially the same, lol. What about critical acclaim? Surely as a gamer quality should matter? Why did you neglect that? Huh? 

Graphics (GT7)???? wow. Were gonna see Forza 6 in all likelihood before GT7. In terms of the now, 2013, the generatonal gap will ensure that Forza is the premiere simulator for the foreseable future. 

They are from different gens and thus have no effect on each other, but the internetz will side with Forza on this one, especially if the meta is higher.

This is a 1up in a big way, totally leapfrogging the rival franchise, and will probably see Forza 6 before GT7. 

I will take you on with your prediction, your emotions are blinding you to the very one-sided meta comparisons of the two IPs this gen :)

Critical acclaim means nothing in the end. Forza scored better with the critics because its more "game" like than sim. It’s as simple as that. IF you don’t understand racing or how to drive a car, GT is going to be a strain. Forza employs tricks like wider track and Auto steering that never turns off. Making the reviews feel better than they really are.

You'll only see Forza 6 before gt7 because it's turned in to a yearly release for MS. It’s nothing but another way to milk their customers. Sims games aren’t needed every year. There is very little can be done to advance a sim in a year. 

Even with the Generation gap Forza will never be the premier simulator (it’s not a sim just so you know). People will still be going back to GT for that, Pro drivers will train on it and pro drivers will be made from it. This is what a "premiere simulator does and what Froza doesn’t.
