Plus, wouldn't it feel wierd to have a Nintendo game on the PC as well?

Well. Technically, every single Nintendo game ever made is already on the PC.

I am digusted by what this website is becoming.

So EA isn't releasing anything on Wii U and suddendly the Wii U is going to die and Nintendo is going to be a third party? Has everybody lose his mind?

The Nintendo forum is becoming flooded by anti Nintendo guys.

The moderation should immediately ban people making these threads

Where is my New Super Mario Bros. U ISO then?

In reality, they would take all their franchises with them to the grave, like Iwata once stated. Personally I'd probably stop gaming too and stick to old consoles and games.

But, to answer the OP; I think Sony consoles would be the best place for them to go. Assuming Nintendo keeps going like SEGA does and only exists the hardware business while keeping their studios, I don't think they would go multi-plat. Nintendo always fine-tunes their games perfectly to the hardware. Naturally, they do that because they have their own consoles, but I don't think the mindset would stop if they would publish for another console and will want to focus on one console. PC Mario games have been made by the way, but these are rare and from a long time ago. I don't think that'll happen again. Lastly, the Sony and Nintendo fan-bases, even when it doesn't necessarily shows here on VGC, have a lot of overlap I think.

Luckily, nothing of this will ever happen. Nintendo will live on while others come and go .

Nintendo would concentrate on their handheld devices instead, ignoring the home console market all together. Imagine a Nintendo console with no droughts, with major games releasing all the time!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Everywhere - but first to TT Games, I want to see LEGO Zelda :D

When I think of it, they can do that without dropping out of hardware race....hm...

WARRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

that is it

You think they should just stop making the games until fans make a kickstarter to pay for Nintendo to make another system?

of course not. But Microsoft, Sony and Google will start a great war to buy Nintendo's franchise

If it would be a question of money then there wouldn't be a question ;)

The thought of a world without a Nintendo console scares me. I dont want to live in that world. So suicide is my answer.

In reality the investors/shareholders would choose the way which promises to be the most profitable. Saturo Iwata is not the almighty ruler of Nintendo.

Burying franchises like a stubborn brat so that no other company gets them is not a good business decision.
