Microsoft wouldn't allow Nintendos BIG franchises go to Sony. MS would either out bid everyone or they would go multiplatform.

They will make games for the other consoles, despite what Nintendo say. It is always the question if Nintendo go third party. What if Microsoft exits gaming, where would Halo go? What if Sony exits gaming, where would Uncharted go being they sold buildings in all. That shouldn't be question for Nintendo being they hold the most money.

I think Nintendo would take them to their grave.

I seem to remember a quote years ago in which Iwata said if Wii performed worse than GC Nintendo would not make another system and that they would not be making games for other systems. My memory isnt the best but I'm sure something along those lines was said.

But then who knows, things change. I think it'll be a sad day for gamers when a company that has made so many great games ceases to exist.

If I see another one of these ridiculous threads, it's not gonna happen, Nintendo is fine with money in the bank and kicking ass with the 3ds, 30mil+ install base and software flying off the shelfs, Nintendo will also profit off of the WiiU by the end of the 8th gen, so if you wanna play these games buy Nintendo hardware and stop wishing something that's not gonna happen for a long long time and by the time it does Sony/Microsoft won't be in the video game business anymore.

Oh dear now EA arent supporting Wii U, Nintendo are suddenly going to become bankrupt and 3rd party only....come on, people buy Nintendo systems for Nintendo games. They wont become 3rd party, and at the very worst would concentrate on handhelds.
As proven by the Gamecube, Nintendo can profit off a small userbase, just look at the amount of software 22 million people bought..impressive.
