Why would I or anyone else need to be ready? The better question to be asked is Will Microsoft announce something other then COD, Halo, Gears, or whatever?

I don't hate Xbox. Just remember a time when the offered more than Halo and DLC first B.S.

Well, to be honest you stated it like MS won't have anything bad at their conference and that all the bad rumors are false.  When you nor anyone else knows yet (I know you never said you did).  Some of those bad rumors that people don't like could very well come true.   Oh, and I'm talking about your last sentence, not the whole post.  We shall see in 3 days.

No but I'm certainly more than ready to watch people eat some or watch their spinning techniques unfold IF indeed there is any crow to be had.

It wasn't just here, it was on a lot of the mainstream gaming sites forums/comment pages. Lots of people were going over the top.

Well to be fair, the same rumors about the PS4 where going around from the same sources and they turned out to be pretty close. So, that's why people believed them. I still believe they are somewhat accurate even if they aren’t as bad like people make them out to be. 

Let us hope the rumors are not true, because if the are, I doubt you have enough room in your stomach for all that crow you plan on handing out.

Quite a few claims have been made about this next X-Box. I'll personally wait until the actual announcement before I decide to revise my opinion.

I think the "show" this 21st will be great for gamers in general, but it wont do a great job in persuading anyone with their mind set on getting another console, because most of the show will be 3rd party stuff. It will just reinforce the purchase intent for those who already wanted to buy a nextbox. So even if you dont want a Nextbox the show will be great because you will see games you will also get for the PC/PS4. That is why I am watching it :)

This is going to be good. I can remember people being all dissapointed and so underwhelmed by the PS4 conference. Now if the Xbox reveal is in any way worse than the Sony reveal and Sony fans react to it the same way some people reacted then we are going to all act brand new about the situation and claim that PlayStation fans are being the usual unreasonable, horrid bullies who attack other companies for no reason.

If this does happen, people will use the "but.. but.. but there was so much hype around the PS4 reveal" While we have people on another note claiming that the PS4 reveal didnt have all that much hype as people claimed or made it out to be lol

The games are what matter the most right? I was cool and was looking forward to a regular reveal without expecting anything too crazy but then we get challenged by threads like this. You throw out the challenge but like to get mad when PlayStation fans react to it

I would happily take the bait but i dont feel like doing it this time.
