Dear God that is a drastic drop for the 360. Going from 300k in March to 130k in April? What happened (besides March being one week longer than April)?

But if the NA tracking sans US is correct, then yes, evidently Kid Icarus: Uprising should be > 433k in NA.

Quite dissapointed really. Didnt expect the 3ds to dip like ot has this month. This is the second month running luigi has been pretty heavily overtracked now. Around 85k last month and 100k this month. Pokemon cant come soon enough because now i dont even think donkey kong will have that much of an effect on hardware. I suppose animal crossing is the next genuine hardware seller.

The combination of Donkey Kong/Animal Crossing/Mario & Luigi shpuld keep sales pretty solid for the next few months then beast mode once Pokemon hits and Zelda will help too.

Hopefully the mix of those games will help, especially animal crossing. Still dont see donkey kong doing much though. Will be interesting to see what the numbers are when pokemon is released. If it does not get a sustained boost after the mulitude of games this year then i dont think it ever will.

3DS < 130K is especially bad when you consider that software has never been so vivid. Nintendo is clearly feeding existing owners without expanding the user base that much. At this rate the 18m target is illusional and the "Nintendo-like profits" are gone forever.

The rest is not better and AAA games are stuffed in retail channels. I'm curious to see how the industry copes with that in the next-gen but I deeply think we are seeing the end of an era. I'm pretty sure economic paradigm will have to change dramatically within 2 years imho.
