They seem civil enough to me. As they are not cussing towards you. They are just using it in their sentence. I personally do not cuss at all, even in real life. But it is no problem to me. A lot of people reply with stuff like WTF, OMFG, etc. etc. and that is honestly cussing as well.

I can though, as you are being childish. You can have your opinion about it and say that it's really crazy to think that cursing needs to be banned, but to curse in his thread out of spite? That's just childish. It's also a tad ridiculous. Curse all you want, but you know what you are doing here.

Actually, I'm 96. But it's okay to get that wrong. At this age, it doesn't matter.

That's not true. I could find plenty of sites that allow cursing. And once again, this isn't meant to be used in a professional setting. It's a recreational site.

I don't take an issue with most of the avatars or the signatures, or random casual cursing.

I do however find some of the posters in this thread cursing in several posts just to berate you to be pushing it.

I mentioned it in the mod chat after you PM'd me.
we haven't reached an agreement at the time I left, though it seemed like more of us thought that you were being hypercritical.
Cursing itself is fine here as long as it doesn't become rampant.

A while back it was even allowed to tell people to STFU or GTFO (under the Machina regime) but we seem to look more harshly into that nowadays.
You said that you reported these kinds of posts. I can say for myself that I don't remove these reports where I'm not certain and I don't think other mods would do that without asking about it in the mod chat.
Therefore you can be sure that enough people saw it and that it was decided to be harmless.

That's all I wanted was an answer.  I know that people have different views on these type of things but I don't see this as being civil.  I don't report every comment that curses but If i see something posted out of anger I do.  Personally I don't think you can justify this behavior as being civil but that is my opinion.  You can lock this thread now if you want.
