If I owned one I wouldn't mind seeing some older games. But nothing really comes to mind to be honest. I'd prefer a new Ip that really gets me excited personally.

I mean in this context. People pressing yes are for the most part just sugarcoating the situation the Vita finds itself in.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Or they might be Nintendo fans that want to see the Vita die and one way to do that is making sure it turns into a Portstation.

Hey it could be.

How is asking for games they don't even have "sugarcoating"?

I could understand if the HD collections people were asking for had already been announced, but they haven't.

Does it have cross save? If that has been confirmed, I will get it on both

Well, from what I remember, they said they're working on it, or something like that anyway, so if it's added by the time they release, it's a 100% buy on both consoles, lol

Well we can keep hoping, but I am fairly sure that their iOS games don't even have cross save between iPad and iPhone

How? Vita needs games and has had some good "ports" alongside good new games so far. You could say Little King's Story, Persona 4 and Metal Gear Solid HD collection are all ports but they have all made great additions. Hell, some argue Persona 4 is the one of the best game on Vita so far. They may be ports, but they use the unique features well and so end up playing differently to what they would on console. That's because they weren't lazy cash ins like they could off been. Resistance burning skies and call of duty black ops declassified may have been new games but were terrible due to lazy developers and the fact they were rushed.

Is it a really a port if it adds so much new stuff to the gameplay and content, especially if it's done well?

But I admit i pressed yes like many people in this thread and that's because the Vita could get some great games from yesteryear to add with the great new games it's getting. No matter what you say, ports have added greatly to handhelds. The GBA, DS and 3DS all got tons of nintendo classics and despite being ports, were quite nice to play on the go. I'm not saying we should rely on ports but there shouldn't be a problem with them being released on the system.

I am not arguing the quality of "some" of the ports the Vita got so far. Still, it's already way too reliant on this type of games and it also has a shit-ton of yesteryears Indie titles and HD Collections announced so the question if people would be ok with even more rehashed rereleases is just....

I just feel like Sony is going the easiest and cheapest possible way to hold the vita somehow over water until the ps4 releases to retool it into a remote play device.
